I only things I can think of for are:

o To make sure the crawls are spelt correctly and use the right punctuation.

o To give feedback on the transitions. (I can give time codes)

o To keep track on the characters introduced or used in the show (like the clones) and make sure their stories make sense in the overall arc series.

Im confident I can do most of that my self but if/when I release a complete series package, it should have have the public seal of approval in my opinion 😉

Also thanks for clearing the importance of Domino Squad to me. I think it’s easy to see which aspect of the Clone Wars I paid more attention to cough cough Maul 😂

That’s a good point. I will definitely consider adding Domino Squad arc (which I’m assuming is S03Ep1, S01Ep5 and S03Ep2?)

As for your other recommendations. I think it’s best stick to the list I have right now because its got a tight story runnning throughout and I can’t risk adding too many character because they will introduce even more arcs and the mini-series and will just become… The series again I guess 😅

Preference in my honest opinion. Always had a soft spot for it.

I might rewatch the Domino arc for… research purposes and see what I can do. But if there any arcs you are not a fan of, they can be easily left out of your download since most of them are standalone arcs 😃

Also an update on the 2008 movie arc: I tried to edit an episode based on the battle of Christophsis but since the footage consisted of 3 standalone episodes, the plot comes off a bit jarring.

Plus we get a lot of fun material in the 2008 movie to introduce us to the show.

The only change I’ve made is I cut the Padme/Ziro the Hutt sub plot that they introduce in the last act of the film which slows things down (and is slightly cringe, sorry). This way I’ve kicked the end of the film up the arse and it now runs at 1hr 25 mins before credits.

Has anyone got any recommendations for the episode name?

When an episode is uploaded. I will update the list at the beginning of the thread, basically putting ‘COMPLETED’ next to the episode name.

Then when people PM me for links. They can ask for a specific episode or for all the episodes released at the time 😃

I am once again set back. Just cant get the video quality at a good enough level but thats something I can get round soon enough.

Also I’m struggling to work out the timings for the crawl because sometimes the narrator has a whole lot to say, or like 20 secs of set up dialog. This makes it hard to work out how long the text should be on the screen for.

This could be solved by having 1 paragraph of text to set up the episode? Each edit can use the same template and the audience can jump into the action quicker? So yeah, just got to play around.

Also szopman, I’m looking forward to the Maul episodes too! What I’m doing is splitting up the season 4 arc with Asajj and Maul.

So the episode where Dathomir is destroyed will be put onto the end of the Nightsisters arc and the epiosdes where Savage finds and ressurects Maul will open up the Revenge arc.

This will make ‘Revenge’ 2 hours long and a hell of an episode 😄

Brilliant. I will upload them to Google Drive then upload the complete package to Spleen when it’s all completed.

To answer some questions:

o Yes they will be in MP4
o They will be from 700mb to 1GB per episode (roughly)
o I have considered the ‘Long time ago…’ card however they are only really used for the movies, I consider these more like longer episodes of the series.
o The credit score will play out just like the original show too.

I apologise that the more radical ideas aren’t being implimented in this series.

I just feel that if people universally like the show as a whole, nothing much should change. Whereas if more radical changes are implemented, it begins to appeal to a slimmer audience, if that makes sense 😉

Question for you guys: is everyone ok with MySpleen and Google Drive for retrieving these edits?

Because I’ve got Battle of Christophsis, Rising Malevolence, Landing at Point Rain and The Mandalore Plot basically ready to render after a few grammer checks 😃

It’s going well. I’m just practising the best music cues and transitions for the first 2 arcs. That way when I start getting deep into the project, I can give it all the same consistent editing type.

Both PT and ST would be great for
3-in-1 edits. Each relying on a central film.

PT could use ROTS with maybe half an hour of TPM and AOTC to open with

ST could use TFA and TLJ and TROS to wrap it up. Stealing ideas for Adobewan, you could use the death of Snoke as a semi convincing end to the Saga, especially if it quickly proceeds Starkiller Base blowing up.

I might approach all of the episodes like this:

o Lucasfilm logo (old or new version)
o Clone Wars logo
o Episode name
o the narrator’s transcript in the Solo style text, with the Clone Wars theme in the background
o Iris wipe to the opening shot

That way it keeps the original vibe with a more mature/film like spin.

I could also have the first half of the series with blue text and the second half of the series (Revenge arc onwards) with red text. That would look pretty as heck!

The first post has also been edited to diplay my most up to date plan.

Unfortunately I will not be including Cad Bane. I won’t the collection of stories to have a bit more focus on the more important characters (Anakin, Obi Wan, Ashoka, Maul, The Clones).

He is cool tho!

I will soon update the first post so everyone will know what’s going on currently.

• as great as your recently posted intro is, I think the unique intro introduced in S07E09 is a good way to go, especially since E09-E12 are being released in a way that suggests it might be released in movie format sooner than later. • I noticed in your original post that you were thinking of including the “Without a Trace” episodes. In my opinion, these episodes have very little to offer other than bringing back Ahsoka. I actually temporarily stopped watching S07 during that arc because of how much of a let down it was. I’d rather see the Bad Batch for the sake of Rex, or neither.

As far as whether you choose to go with Option 1, Option 2, or a completely different direction, I’m easy.

I’m not too sure what you mean with the comment about the intro. Since Episode 9 just started with a different soundtrack and a title card. I’m planning to keep the intros reasonably consistent throughout the mini series.

I can always play with a variety of ideas whilst I’m editing these arcs together 😃

Well I can always do both Walkabout and Bad Batch arcs. Since I will probably release each mini movie separately, it’s a case of choosing whether you want to add either one to your collection 😃

Yeah I was tempted to swap out the Martez Sisters with the Bad Batch arc to be honest.
