We're confused. So watching the Empire Strikes Back in the theater, was one of the worst days of your life. And being in the hospital was the best.

Ok,  we can see that, some people felt that way, with this 2nd movie ending on a down note, and not being very conclusive.

Just kidding. You should check out our Grindhouse version too. Harmy did an excellent job on his version.

All these options to choose from.  I feel like a kid in a candy store.  No hospital visit thankfully, but that poor Huffy bicycle was never the same.

Harmy,

Thanks for your preservation efforts and for all who contributed.  I have the limited edition wide screen laser disc to dvd transfer editions, and had purchased many vhs versions.  I have shared those with my 2 boys.  Your despecialized edition of ESB triggered memories of yesteryear when I was 8 years old in the theater.

Of course at that time I was all skinned up when I fell off my bike going down a steep hill at a ridiculous speed.  I had lost an eyebrow, skinned up my knees, elbows, and other areas.  I was all bloodied up with road rash.  I had also had a weird nightmare the night before about an Eskimo in a recliner in an igloo with snow up to his nose and a unseen supernatural presence that I couldn't get away from.

My aunt had heard about my accident and invited me to go with her family to an afternoon showing of ESB at the cinema.  When the lights dimmed I experienced one of the greatest movies of all time.  For 2 hours gone were the thoughts of my aching body, sores and bruises. I was so immersed into the story, Yoda,  the revelation of Luke’s father, Han being frozen in carbonite.  I didn’t want the story to end and I couldn’t wait until the next chapter.

It was one of the worst and best days of my life that I will always remember.  Last night it was good to experience some of that movie magic again with your restored version.

You Rock Harmy!  Thanks for doing this.

You should check out the RoTJ thread if you want to discuss digital eyebrow replacement technology on a pretty much weekly basis.
