Idea & Info: is their anyone willing to edit the original ultra stereo tracks of halloween 4 and 5 laserdisc to sync up with the blu rays?
Time

2. Does the original non-anamorphic Halloween 4 DVD contain a 2.0 track? (I think it has to according to DVD spec.)

I just purchased it so we'll find out when it arrives.

:)

I'll be happy to rip and share it for research into it's origins.

I didn't even know Ultra Stereo actually existed .... I was just trying to give the op some ideas.  For my own sake, I posted the links for reviews of the 2 I owned but apparently he wasn't reading, I'm not sure.

Thanks for the info skoal, most appreciated.

These laserdiscs can fetch a fair price on eBay.  Maybe purchasing them and offering them up to someone who can transfer bit for bit audio would be the way to go?

Just an idea.

Here is Halloween 4 on LD ....

All I have are the Divimax DVD versions of 4/5 from Anchor Bay .....

Info: Any Godzilla fans out there?
Time

Has anyone here managed to use this mkv to create a compliant bluray structure where there are no sync issues?  I've been trying to do this with no luck as I want to burn it and watch on my large analog projection TV.

Every time I try to convert this to something else the audio immediately goes out of sync.  If I leave it in the MKV container, it's fine.

So what gives?

I know it's not a popular movie at all, but I am interested on the DTS track of Cube 2: Hypercube.

As far as I know, only the Polish DVD included that track, that isn't present anywhere else in the world, and the movie hasn't even been released on bluray.

Well, this may be a tough find.  Cinema DTS isn't like home DTS and I don't know if this film was even shown with that audio configuration.

I will look.

My point was, that as the Grand Duke of Off Topic, you should be the last person telling people about what could get them banned, especially in the moderated section.

"Politely" retrieving someones deleted posts, reposting them, and expecting thanks for doing it doesn't scream "Frink is being helpful and kind".  There was also no unprovoked shot.  I was teasing you over the irony of your words compared to your own constantly well-known misbehavior here in the moderated section.

Not sure who Fo2 is ...... you may want to reel in the antagonistic tactic and save it for the off-topic section, where you shine.

:)

Sorry Harmy ......

This is seriously so much worse than the things you posted.  Doing so disrupts the flow of the thread and makes it nearly impossible for others reading it to follow what is going on, and it's disrespectful to the forum as a whole.  People have been banned for doing this in the past.

The irony of it all ...................................  figured a good laugh was needed considering.
