Here's my random thought:

Star Wars is perfection because even the shitty parts make wish I lived there.

This is what happens after you become a zombie from drinking the Lucasfilm/Lucas Licensing Kool-Aid.

Sad for you that you seem to feel the need to insult a fellow fan simply because we have differing view points.

What we like about the Prequels
Time

I like everything except for Jar Jar, Anakin's nickname, midi-chlorians, the fact that TPM is a kid film more so than the others, and some of the acting and casting. A few other things could've been changed to make them better but aren't big enough gripes, imo, to list. All in all I think the PT is alright and I enjoy all three of the films. ROTS I feel is worthy to be placed on the pedestal with the OT.

Star Wars: Episode VII to be directed by J.J. Abrams **NON SPOILER THREAD**
Time

How I tremble with anticipation, and weep with longing as I dream of once again feeling the tender embrace of the Force. For too long have I been separated from this glorious universe, and its many splendid gifts. When I finally slip down into that chair on opening night and the greatest musical score to ever grace the silver screen fills my ears, it will be as if I have at last come home to find all those that I love waiting with open arms upon the stoop.

I'm not sure why everyone is talking about CGI. The Prequels were weaker films because of poor plot, dialogue, and directing. CGI was still kind of new then so some shots looked way too cartoony, but by the time ROTS rolled around I thought the CGI looked great in that.

It's 2014, I'm sure that any CGI used will look great. I'm more worried about the storyline at this point.

I'm one of those odd people that don't care one way or the other how the effects are done. CGI or models, if it looks good who cares. Eps 1&2 had some problems with the CGI but still looked okay. I agree with you that the CGI in ROTS looked pretty damn good. I have no doubts that visually this Star Wars trilogy will look the best.

Episode VII: The Force Awakens - Discussion * SPOILER THREAD *
Time

Good or bad I crave all things Star Wars and enjoy it all. Even that which by all rights shouldn't be enjoyable. Star Wars is my heroin, and even the bad highs are worth my time. Can't wait for this film. Perhaps it will be the greatest Star Wars film yet? But even if it sucks, I will be there and I will rejoice in another trip to a galaxy far far away.
