STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
For those who haven't seen anything yet, Ady's interactive menus do look beautiful.

The trivia track is great! Some of the things that were pointed out, I missed even after watching the xvid over 20 times. That really goes to show how subtle the changes are that Ady did. It just blends in so well.

Eventhough I am in the USA, I had to download the PAL version because I couldn't wait. And I am not disappointed Ady. I consider it to be a teaser for the fixed version. It was worth the download!!

My 15 month daughter could not turn her head away all the while I had it running. So you have us all hooked.

I and my wife loved the music in the duel scenes.

I have shown the movie to four Star Wars fan friends of mine and they absolutely LOVE it too. They couldn't believe that fans put this edition together by not just editing video clips, but by doing that and creating sound tracks and creating 3D meshes...but most of all for doing it out of love for the story and the love of showing it to other fans.

Every person that I showed it to said that Ady should get a job in Hollywood, but now that we see how those types operate...

Ady, I have never met you, but one day perhaps we will at some convention down the road...When I do, I will shake your hand that say thank you for completing this project. It is the coolest thing.

I watch either the whole movie or pieces of it every single evening before bed. It does make me feel like a 'kid' again...and there is nothing wrong with that.

Ady,

I have now watched it 5 times and each time I pick up more of the little subtleties that you put into the edit.

One of them was how you actually pulled off giving Chewie the medal. I was always wondering how you were going to do that and it is incredible. I noticed how Chewie moved up, but was too absorbed in everything else to have it sink in.

Each day I "see" more. Thank you for opening my eyes.

Ady,

I hope you get your determination to do the other movies! Forget about the people who have to nitpick about the little stuff. If they don't like it, they are free to do their own edit.

Your work is amazing and myself and my family thank you very much. As many people have said, this is the Episode IV that I will watch exclusively. I have already watched it three times from beginning to end.
I never thought that I would love A New Hope more than I did, but you actually got me to love it more and for that I am thankful.

I think what you need to do is just do what you want with the flipper/hand and then that is all...Tell everyone "Case closed". If people still give criticism after that, then we will see that they are being jerks because it is over.

Only one more thing...I am so looking forward to seeing your box cover art. I told my wife how you are painting it and she couldn't believe that you are so talented to be able to do all these things.

If I were you, I wouldn't even read this thread anymore. Just start a new thread for Empire to get the creative juices flowing.

There'll be a battle or some such shit before too long.

I agree with Tweaker, but seeing the quality of Ady's work, I wouldn't know what side to be on. So basically I would be smacking myself silly.

Ady,

You are the KING. The video quality and audio quality is amazing. I am truly blown away.

All the people who did the meshes of the Death Star and the composities did a wonderful job.

Everything looked so seemless.

Told me wife that we had to stay home today to celebrate. My girls loved it.

It made me feel like I was a kid again seeing it all those 30 years ago. I had the same wide-eyed expression on my face and the biggest smile as well.

Thank you AdyWan for spending all that time on this project and most of all for sharing your dream with us.

@Sluggo---Don't take this the wrong way, but as I was scrolling down to read the posts and came upon your cover, the top half made me immediately think of Mickey Mouse due to the placement of the circles in the top corners. I think it is because of the size, shape and position of them. Perhaps you can do something jagged or a different shape to throw off that perception.

It could be just because of of the scrolling that I perceived it that way, but I wanted to make sure that I mentioned it.

Please accept it as constructive criticism and just my perception. I do like the cover.

This has been the day that we all have been waiting for.

Congrats Ady...That is true dedication that you have finished your project. Many people would have given up when they hit all the snags/snafus that you did along the way.

I can hardly wait to see it.

It must be a great feeling. I only wish I knew how that felt.

Ady,

That is great news that it is in the homestretch.

The more I think about it, the happier I get.

2008 will be off to a great start...Your edit...Clone Wars animated series...Force Unleashed game/book...

Great time to be a SW fan indeed.

Out of all those things though, I am most looking forward to your edit. Sorry George L...lol.

Ady,

I just told my wife that I am so glad that you are a perfectionist. It is awesome that you can fix so much...video....audio...your talents are endless.

I am in awe of your work that you had already posted and can't even imagine the work you put into this project. I thought I was a huge Star Wars fan, but you far surpass me.

I am glad that in this whole world, that this edit is being done by you. Your keen eye and your cool temperment has been a blessing to us all. Thank you for giving us so much to look forward to.

You really have brought the magic of Star Wars back to my level of awe when I was a little kid...and I thank you for that.

@Ady, the screenshots are amazing. You know just how to keep your fans interest piqued. I can hardly wait to see the new TIE battle.

@Nohandluke---That is a good point. I thought that many times myself. I think Ady already will have it covered with Wedge, Luke and the Falcon leaving. Do you think that should be the only ones leaving?
