I'm sorry guys my emotions got the best of me. Its just people keep thrashing the prequels when I think they were fine how they are. Its episode IV I have a problem with. My bad guys.

I think you all are crazy! Obviously you guys have too much time on your hands and need a life. Man these ideas I'm reading sound like straight up crap. I'm reading these comments laughin at you clowns. You guys are a joke. The story is fine the way it is stop gettin all crazy with these half assed stories. These are movies to visually entertain people. Save all that crazy stuff for the books man. A lot of movies don't follow the books because they drag to much
and take to long to get to the point. The prequels are fine. Yeah they are not perfectly tying everything to the OT but they are good. All of you are complaining about the prequels but I bet you went to the movies to see all three of them (that is called supporting). They are already made so suck it up and move on.

Why do you guys even care if he did remake them you got what you wanted (the OT on dvd coming out). So have a open mind about it. Don't knock it until you see it because you might just be eating your words if you like the remakes. If they came out better than the prequels everyone who said it would be a mistake will be jumpin on the band wagon saying that it was a good idea. So the point is give it a chance because you just never know.

I agree with you darkhelmet. The originals are what they are ORIGINALS! Now its time for a remake. Its like this, what would you rather watch 1930's King Kong or 2005 King Kong? The originals are classics so leave them alone.
Movies are new and improved. So why not remake IV,V and VI. Thats all I'm saying. Most of the movies these days are remakes anyway. Many of them turn out to be better than the originals (batman is a great example even though I think no one can ever replace Jack as joker). CASE CLOSED!

You can't call the bullshit SE editions a make over. III is much better than IV went IV should be better than III. Listen up, leave the story of IV the same just change little thing like obi not recognizing the droids, him telling luke that his father wanted him to have his lightsaber, and the WEAK ASS battle of vader & obi. V story really doesn't need to be changed just maybe little parts like luke getting tongued by his sister and the vader fight. How did luke even put up a fight in V with vader and he just learned about the force. In II anakin learned the force for 10 years and didn't even put up a fight with the count. In III anakin took on all of these jedi in the temple and won (one scene they show him fighting three at one time). So how in the hell did weak as luke even get a hit off. It kind of made vader look weak. VI story is good but the part I have a problem is obi saying he found anakin and took it upon HIMself to train anakin. That part really needs to change because it makes obi look like a liar. Its so much they can do to make IV,V and VI better by making them over instead of fucking with the originals but I would rather them fuck with the originals if they don't make them over. (to many errors in IV,V and VI)

I think he should make them over. I love the originals but they just look to out of date. Especially IV ANH man it just looks to low budget but its still a good movie. If he does do them over he can really make them how he intended to. He can also add to the story or change little things. I don't think anyone would disagree with a lightsaber battle between the empire and vader at the end of VI ROTJ instead of him just throwing the emp down the drain like he wasn't nothing. I would pay to see that.

I love the original trilogy. The release of the original is some thing I was waiting for but they should have waited to do this so they could have it like the alien series. They have both versions of each movie in one set. That why people can enjoy the movies how they want. Alot of people prefer both versions from what I am hearing.

First of all the trilogy dvd quality sucks. The movies had so many errors its heart breaking. Some I came with a few ideas.

1. They should use obi from I,II and III in the trilogy. This way they can change alot of things that really need to be changed. If they use him they could show that he recognizes r2 & 3po but doen't say it. The lightsaber fight between vader & obi in IV ANH sucks! They can redo it with him to make it a little better but not to stunty and sword twisting like I,II and III. So that means vader would have to change too. Which would be good because vaders helmet looks like crap in IV. They can place a better looking vader in IV (not changing the scenes just vader). Also in VI ROTJ obi could tell luke that he promise to train anakin (promised Qui Gon in I).

2. LIGHTSABERS! what went wrong with that. Man pick a color please, are they red or pink, green or blue. In I,II and III the lightsabers look perfect and have the right color. That really needs to change in the trilogy. When the lightsabers touch you should see that bright light and here that sound more clearer. Where is the orange burn mark when the saber slices something (when luke gets his hand cut off - when vader gets his hand cut off or when luke is slicing all those guys on jabbas ship in VI).

3. I think all the space travel, starship fights should be CGI ( all space scenes including the deathstar). Look how perfect all the space fights, starships and planets looked in I,II and III. I wouldn't mind a CGI yoda either.

4. Stormtroopers should have the same voice from I,II and III.

5. They should replace the unmasking scene in VI with a burnt deformed Hayden like in III. I think they should use the same voice still (a voice over sounds like it would work).

These changes and a few more sounds good. What do you think?
