Awesome, thank you, I grabbed the full movie length cut. Thanks for doing that!
Awesome, thank you, I grabbed the full movie length cut. Thanks for doing that!
All the ‘episodes’ should stitch together perfectly if you make a playlist with them. I use them in my ESL classes so I don’t really need a full length movie cut. Also, the subtitle files are synched to the episodes.
Sure thing, I’ll give it a shot when I have a moment.
Cool, got 'em! Have you considered connecting the parts into a single movie file and sharing that one? I’ll probably do it myself this weekend in FCP, but I may not get the sections stitched perfectly. If you have a version that is a “master” before breaking it into chapters, that would be the ideal!
I’d like to check it out too please!
I’m curious to see your version! I’ll send you a PM
I’d love an invite as well!
I would also love a link! Being able to enjoy this film without rapey behavior is very welcome.
I’m a huge Blade Runner fan as well, and would love to have to have this version of the film. The unicorn and the rep-eyes take away the mystery, and spoon-feed the answer. I love it being exactly equal weight to either potential. Please share the link!
I’m a huge Duniac, and would love a link to check out your work!
I’d like the link as well! I’d appreciate having a version I can share with my kids and also reduce my own cringe.
Avatar: Episode 4: The Lay of the Land (ba-dum-bum)
It’s Star Wars. A giant leap in cinema, box office, special effects, and multiple oscars.
A New Hope sounds awful, a tacked on additional explanation, like the original flat narration in Blade Runner.
Should we all start calling it Citizen Kane: Mystery of the Snowglobe? The Godfather: Family is Everything? Jurassic Park: Life Finds a Way? Avatar: Blue Man Planet?
We don’t belittle other movies with a watered down subtitle, why would we do this for the best movie ever made?
I’m in big feelings mode, apologies for stomping into the room like that.
D+77/80/83 from oohteedee also.
But with a twist, I have them in playlists in Plex with era-approximate theatrical bumpers, trailers, and for Jedi, the original THX trailer as well.
Omigosh, this is the motherlode of sensible improvements! Thank you HAL9000 for opening the pod bay doors! I actually went and grabbed everything Star Wars, and I’m glad I did. I like your judgment calls, to go light on some films, and heavy on the one. I’m especially surprised at what an improvement your cut of Rogue One has, since you largely fix the one issue I have with it - the janky CGI faces. But long story short, I’m just saying thank you. I can now watch these movies without cringing.
My gosh, this is incredible! Prometheus has gone from a tragic failure to something fairly passable. I wish you had been the editor of the film in the first place. But I’m really glad to have this version now.
Kreep thank you for doing this amazing work! The files look pristine, and will go nicely with the T2 THX trailer and the T2 teaser trailer in front.
Hello, this sounds like exactly what we should have gotten the first time, on both the prequel and sequel trilogies. I would love to see them all, would you kindly share a link to me as well?
Please send me the link too!
