I’d add more blood, trailing as he falls. And getting on the floor, maybe dripping down the pit while Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon talk. Lightsabers might be able to cauterize a hand being cut off, but not someone being totally bisected like that. Maybe some organs come out.

Another idea I had would be to create new dialogue and redub Anakin and Padme in all three prequel films because it’s not great.
I have two thoughts on how to fix Jar Jar, either redub him with new lines and a non-offensive voice, or replace him with a different character. I personally would go for the first option but I don’t have the skills.

I have gotten a one dollar pay raise, and I’ve only been there like four days.
Give it three weeks and if you aren’t satisfied with it at the end of that, quit. No reason to stay at a job you hate any longer than necessary. But before you do that, consider your other prospects. I would start applying to other positions as soon as possible. You can keep working at the job you hate while you do that.
