Was about to mention that before I saw your comment, haha. Good job on the colour correction, I think you did a great job.
But the sky doesn’t blend well with the foreground. If you can darken the sky I think it’d look wonderful, it just looks a bit jarring at the moment.

The rain is an interesting idea but not sure how well it could be executed without looking tacky.

Thank you 😉 As I said, I tried working on the sky, but when I change settings on it, fake looking CGI becomes a punch in the face, and Obi Wan and Padme’s figures’ masking becomes too visible.
I will try again, of course, but I don’t promise any success.
With a bit of imagination it can be seen as just before dawn or after sunset, when the sky light is visible but the sun isn’t.

I actually love the transition. Keep it as is.

I would have loved putting some stormy effects, but at least for now I’m not able to do it.

KENOBI-PADME scene update.

I kept trying. I tried with other rain effects, with color correction, brightness, contrast, etc. But it still remains too much visible, and even if I change settings in a considerable way there is the problem of the CGI in background that becomes a punch in the face.
The only solution would be a completely new background, but I don’t have any instrument nor capability to do it. I’m not Adywan 😄

This is the last test. I gave a blueish tone. It seems the scene is set right before dawn or sunset.
Now you simply have to choose between the two.

Lol, if anyone has any suggestion on how to improve the scene I’m glad to hear it.
If I change settings on the rain green screen, rain disappears.
Tha masking on the column remains too much visible, probably because of the double effect (darkening and rain behind).
I don’t know how to darken the sky, cause it has the same problems of the rain.

I can leave it the way it is, with the simple darkening effect.
Or I can add the storm sound, but then when we see the sky, it is not a stormy sky.

I think for the time being I will pass to other scenes, lol.

If the rain doesn’t work, maybe you could just add distant sounds of thunder instead.
I think the color grading looks cool, though the horizon does seem a little bright. I think that kind of gives the effect away a little bit since you can’t really do much about the sky being clear despite how stormy the mood feels now.

Totally my opinion, but I think adding thunder sounds, and maybe trying to darken the sky somehow, might be more effective than adding rain in the background.

This is what it looks like. (audio is still to be worked on)
I think you understand my skepticism.
I masked Padme every single frame. In fact, I dont think you notice it that much.
But the cutting around the background floor and the column is pretty mich visible, and I don’t know how to fix it.

I’d like to know your first impression.
If you think it is acceptable, then I continue and cut Obi and Padme even in the following scene. Then I slowly dissolve rain before Kenobi leaves.

Otherwise it will go only with darker setting and without rain.

I made a color correction on the Obi Wan-Padme scene to make it less colorful and sunny, and more dark and dramatic.
Removed mention of Anakin killing younglings.
