I’m a little confused as to the point of this post. Is this a discussion thread? Is this just you trying to get a Blu-ray? You say it wasn’t ever released on Blu-ray, so why are you looking for something that doesn’t exist?

More of a discussion. I was thinking finding a high quality digital version that I could then burn to blu-ray. Every digital copy I have found for download in the past has been sub-par though.

Hey guys,
I’m new to the forum and thought I’d try my hand at posting an off topic discussion. I am a huge fan of Gendy Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars mini-series and would love to look into finding a way to get them on to a blu-ray format seeing that they were only ever released on DVD. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is anyone else a fan of the series?

I am quite happy with my DIGISTOR external Blu-ray drive (the actual drive component is Panasonic):

I would also highly recommend DIGISTOR recordable media (which is manufactured by CMC Magnetics - a quality Taiwanese manufacturer, that produces “Made in Taiwan” Verbatim recordable DVD and BD discs):

The BEST thing about DIGISTOR products is the company.  They are based in Campbell, California and stand by their products 110%.  Contact them about ANY coasters you may get, they will replace and ship them for FREE.

Receintly, I had intermittent issues burning their BD50 that turned south really bad (7 for 7 coasters trying to burn one folder of data to disc) in Toast 11…they extensively tested and have RESOLVED the issue completely (the problem, as it turned out, was in Toast 11) with ZERO coasters since, for more on that:

Hope that helps! 😉

p.s.  The ACTUAL drive that I purchased is the DIGISTOR™ Personal Archive Blu-ray Burner for PC and Mac (Slot Load) - DIG-78112 and I tend to buy the 50GB BD-R Printable media.

Thank you for this post! I’m trying to create a full despecialized edition box set and I’ve been hung up on the best device to order to burn the Blu-rays. This is a wealth of info.
