I trying to make a more faster pace 3 in 1 edit with some major changes.

Quigon and Obiwan dont go to tatooine to repair the ship but to look for of the missing jedi master sifo dyas.

We get a mention of him in attack of the clones but i think introducing the clone project with Palpatine plan earlier would have been better.

Heres Plapatine ordering Maul to head to tatooine to kill Sifo Dyas.

Another scene is Anakin rank of jedi master. In the rots novel Anakin reason goes beyond of just feeling hes earned the title and the council doesn’t respect him. He wants to become a master and council member because they are allowed access to enter the holocron vault that contains ancient knowledge of past jedi. He believed there might have been something in the holocrons that could have helped him save Padame. So that was another wedge with the council members and another step closer to Palpatine.

I tried to convey that with a dream sequence before the jedi master scene of Yoda talking about how jedi of the past had ability to see visions of the future and how very few jedi have that ability now. cuts to Jacosta Nu (Clone wars dubbed) talking about the holocron vault cuts to Anakin getting put on the council from Palpatine cut to Padme dying cut to the jedi council scene where they deny him mastery.

Sorry but besides being busy my PC burned out and i lost everything a couple months ago and became completely unmotivated after spending hours on this. I just got a new PC 2 weeks ago and thought I’ll start all over, i messed around with some lines yesterday and this is what i got so far.

Sorry been kinda hectic this last month especially over the holidays with work and real life but i still plan on continuing this project. I completed the intro scene and working on the Anakin & Obi duel vs Count Dooku next.

Glad you guys enjoyed. Ya this is time consuming but I’m guessing if i stay motivated i could get something out soon, with the holidays coming up i should have more free time.

Part of what makes that scene work is that you never see Plagueis. It would ruin the mystery to have a clear shot of him like that, not to mention he would look silly. Besides, it’s totally pointless.

Still new to this but after watching some great edits over the years i thought I’d give it a shot.

When i see some hate on the prequels and the PT era i always tell them to give the EU a chance because that’s where the Prequels really shine, but understandably some are just movie fans. The Clone Wars is my favorite era and its shown in the novels,games,the two cartoon series,comics etc… But the movies sadly were a let down.

The ROTS novelization is one of the best books written in the Star Wars franchisee in my opinion and its a shame the movies couldn’t bring such a great story to light.

I recently heard the audio book of the novel and it made me like the story even better, like the movie we always wanted to see come to life. Anakin and Obi wan have some great back and forth banter and it seems to have the brotherly relationship the Clone Wars cartoon shows. Lines are a improvement and we get to explore characters inner thoughts.

So it hit me with the audio book i could try to tell its story and combine it with the visuals of the movie.

I’m still in the early stages so i don’t have a clear idea and if you guys have any ideas I’m all ears, but here are some of my thoughts to what I’m thinking

The voices have a really good range they got r2d2 sounds and the voice work ranges from Yoda to Anakin to Dooku and Vader etc. Don’t know if it one guy but if it is he really is talented. Padame i have to edit because its a male trying to replicate her voice so a voice changer to make more female sounding

Might play around with pitch shifting the voices to make them sound a little more distant.

Don’t know if i want to make this a Revenge of the Sith movie edit or a micro series/ cartoon series style episode show, especially with the narration.

If i do it a movie edit thinking of doing some narration style in the movie kinda like good fellas style where the main character narrates of people on who they are. Kinda could use this as a flash back scene.

Thinking of adding that scene in ep2 with Dooku talking with the separatists in Geonosis and the short clip with that Muun as a Palatine flash back scene of Plagueis telling/teaching him about manipulation.

I want to add Yoda talking with Qui-Gon coming back as a ghost voice telling him of his faults and the how jedi were blind having a really good heart to heart moment and then Qui-Gon telling him about how he could become a force ghost and to got to Dagobah.
