I just happen to have been out for a work meeting and talk got on to Star Wars, so I asked someone who saw the 77 release how they remember the chasm sequence and with absolute certainty they recalled Luke missing. I’m sure it was there, too many people remember it.

There is a ‘30+ post requirement’ to be able to acquire any of the projects listed in there.

Unfortunately we don’t have a copy of the ITV premiere for Return Of The Jedi (shown on 26th December, 1989)…

Finally had a chance to watch some of the preservation of the October 1982 broadcast of Star Wars on ITV and I am absolutely blown away by the luminous colors . Simply beautiful ! Even with the tracking issues and slight PAL speedup of the audio , I’m amazed by the quality compared to the NTSC broadcasts we got here in the states . Is there a downloadable version of the UK 1982 ITV broadcast?
If not, could someone who might have a copy tell me if Luke misses with the grappling hook?
Apologies if this has been asked a million times and causes a laugh or facepalm, I’m desperate.
