I agree, in the Spence fanedit the Rancor scene is entirely removed. While I thought it would be too iconic to remove, the entire first act works better without it. Better pacing, and Luke appears a stronger and more mysterious character.

This sounds amazing, but no release in 3 years is insane! Any kind of intended release date planned?
