It goes randomly quiet at 0:10-0:11, but besides that, everything is great! Love the echo added to 3P0’s lines, did you do that or was that already in the radio drama?

canonically Owen and Beru should look younger so I removed some wrinkles.

I won’t make obi wan younger, tbh Alec looked very good for his age and didn’t have that may wrinkles in his face compared to Owen and Beru

Owen will be the next one to be made a bit younger

Hello there! I have posted this in the Fanedit request thread but no response for about 2 weeks now. As the title says I would like a link to xxtelecine 7xx’s edits of the Original Trilogy and The Force Awakens.

Essentially the deleted scene, but fully restored and re-edited to fit proper pacing of where it would go in the film + significantly more audio courtesy of the radio drama version. Luke sees the ships from the surface and includes an updated macrobinocular view & few more shots of treadwell and Version 2 of this to come later and will have Luke from a few different angles to improve the flow of this scene + improved binocular view with ships instead of the 1977 triangles representation of 2 ships? Scebe ends with Luke leaving in landspeeder to tell his friends what he has seen.

Extended scene of droids looking for escape pod as taken from the Radio Drama, here there is more dialogue and extended scenes before they get in plus more dialogue inside the pod itself after launching.

Note:some of the comparison with the original scene varies from actual original version in that it is always a challenge to compare an extended version with slightly different edit choices and keep the audio for both in sync. With that disclaimer, know that the “original” consist of maybe 95% and of what purist know as the “original” and is not intended to be a 1:1, but close to see a before and after and in respect to what is added in the “X” version

So, here’s my feedback: The two scenes with the droids are great, fantastic! Excellent editing, bravo to you sir! BUT, and this is a strong but, I can’t say I’m a fan of the extended Tantive IV chase. It is very obvious once you see the new wall, there is noticeable tracing around the troopers and helmets, and there is still a lot of grain left behind.

IMO, you could still keep Han’s ancient in “ancient weapons” for two reasons. 1. It sounds weird when it’s just weapons and 2. Lightsabers are ancient weapons. But besides that, this project looks great and is gonna be awesome!

This was actually my concept. Haha.

I recall someone coming on the forum not long after I started getting involved here, around summer 2015, offering to do some effects work, and it was just a suggestion I through out there. Thought it would be a fun way to set up Grievous, since the Death Star doesn’t really play a role in ROTS besides on of the final shots of the film.

Looking back now, I’d rather keep the Death Star, but give the graphics that classic look with the dish at the equator.

I am simply trying to create better conversations and some humour between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. I think the first portion works very well (up until “is going to be the death of me”), and the latter about 80%.

I’m trying to achieve a few things through this dialogue:

• Obi-Wan is inpatient and a little whiny, much like most Padawans are (Anakin will be). But with decent humour and irony.
• A little gab at the original film premise (diplomatic mission)
• Obi-Wan hating the planet, that he will once end up living on
• Qui-Gon trying to keep his Padawan’s mind focused on the Force and the ways of the Jedi.

I think it works great! BTW, are those AI voices? What app did you use, those sound great!

The Grevious and Battle droid voices are good though!
