Thanks for your interest! All updates can be seen in the first post in this thread. I’m still working on these, but real life has unfortunately carved out a lot of my time recently so I’m not as fast as I used to be.

It’s still going! I just had to slow down a lot due to real life commitments and hard drive issues, but I’m slowly picking the pace back up. Hope to have S1 finished in the next few months.

Really excited for this project! It’ll be nice to get Marvel films with IMAX footage in non 3D format. From what I read, IMAX actually owns the rights to the IMAX version of the films, which is why we haven’t seen 4K releases with the IMAX footage. IMAX/Sony are trying to push IMAX Enhanced instead.

Bummer that, but at least fans like you are helping keep the IMAX versions alive. Can’t wait to see the rest of the films!

Hello! Yes, I am using resources from you and another user for the audios I didn’t have. Actually, my own audios of S1 was the season with the least amount of holes, lol. Once the project is released, I’ll definitely credit y’all for providing the resources, it’s been a big help!

Also, I tried upscaling the show through PremierePro as a test and it was…okay. Honestly, the DVDrips actually look pretty good being purely upscaled by my 4KTV. Still testing how an SD Blu-Ray encode would look, but no promises, lol.

Yeah I actually am looking forward to it. I do know someone provided me with your Season 1 files but they were my very old drafts from like 8 years ago haha. Not all of them were bad but did you acquire more since then? I wouldn’t know how to upscale the actual video file but I would def love to see the finished project. and let me know if you run into any snags.

Hey all!

So I’m currently working on restoring the original music to J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves’ 1998 show Felicity, which aired on the WB.

In case you aren’t aware, the DVD release of the series replaced about 99% of the original broadcast music. Similarly, the streaming release of the show also has the replacement music.

For this project, I am using TVRip broadcast audio (for the original broadcast music) along with the official DVD audio (for the sections with no replacements) for the best quality version of Felicity (given the sources available). This hybrid audio track is synced to the DVD video.

Also, please keep in mind the TVRip audio is of varying quality due to the show’s original and syndication runs being in the early 2000s. Some bits sound as good as the DVD audio while some bits sound like VHS rips (there’s some hiss and crackle in some small areas, and sounds a smidge lower quality than the DVD audio, making some of the transitions between the two not 100% seamless). But unfortunately, that’s what we got, so until rights issues get worked out for future home video/streaming releases or it comes back to syndication, this is what we’re working with.

• Season 1: 15/20 (Episode 1 and Episode 22 have no music alterations so are not counted)
• Season 2: 0/23
• Season 3: 0/17
• Season 4: 0/22

Not sure if this is true, but I read online that the OG music is available if you buy the show on iTunes UK. Though it seems like S1 and S2 aren’t in 1080p on the iTunes UK store, though they are in the iTunes US store. The rest of the show is available in 1080p on the iTunes UK store though. Good luck with your project!
