STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
I've been doing some experiments with folding origami boxsets. I have a ream of 17 x 11 inch paper which is perfect, and I've worked out how to fold it, but I'm not entirely sure how to reproduce it in instructions. Maybe a video would suffice. I also need to experiment and see how well it glues together.

Finally, I'll need to create some appropriate diagrams so that people wishing to design custom boxsets know which areas are printable.

Unfortunately, I don't know when I'll be able to create the video because my camera's run out of power and I can't find the charger. :/

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

One last consideration from me. I want to have a 2 disc Star Wars Revisited set - basically, Adywan's cover art in a 2 disc case with the DVD9 as the first disc (Adywan's label) and the Purist Edition DVD5 as the second disc. Does anyone plan to make any disc art for the Purist Edition?

If not, either I'll try and make something (but I'm sure it's going to look awful) or I will just suck up and leave the unlabelled disc in the case.

Then, hopefully, I can get to work on that origami DVD boxset that should hopefully encompass Empire Revisited and Jedi Revisited.

Info: Star Wars Trilogy - Film Education 2004 Digital Resource
Time

To coincide with the release of the 2004 version of the Star Wars trilogy, a charity in the UK, called Film Education, produced a CD with classroom materials that can be used with the film.

I have a copy of this CD, and am currently refactoring it into a DVD. It uses a few clips from ANH, a nice PDF booklet discussing how the SW uses Joseph Campbell’s idea of ‘The Hero’s Journey’ and an international poster comparison tool.

Now for the DVD refactor, I will be using Adywan’s SW Revisited as a source.

Would anyone be interested in this?

27 Weeks Later (Released)
Time

I’ve almost completed an edit of 28 Weeks Later.

This edit reduces the many things in the film that really annoyed me, like Don following his kids (he only goes down to the tube station in this edit). I’ve also eliminated the kids entering the zone, so from the 10 minute chase sequence it cuts straight to the flats where Don has just finished telling his story, without any exposition.

Though to completely eliminate Don from one scene, I need some help.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Unfortunately this is one of the few things I've seen today which is very likely not to be a joke.

Adywan, I really do understand how you feel about this. I personally, and many others here, would love to see this project, but there's only so much one person can do.

You are amazing. Thank you for bring Star Wars IV Revisited to us.

I hope to see you here again.

Kill Bill (* unfinished project *)
Time

It’s taken me a while to sign up to this forum. I mostly hang out on Faneditforum and haven’t really thought about this forum much, but now I’ve remembered here I am! I have already completed and released two fan edits - first of Hot Fuzz and second of three South Park episodes, which can both be found on Fanedit.org.

My next edit project is a fan edit of Kill Bill. This will be released in volumes like the original was, but only in AVI format, the full DVD having both volumes joined together.

So far I’m finishing up Volume 1. It runs at 1 hour and 38 minutes (98 minutes). What my edit does is rejig the first half of the film (from the shooting to the hospital) and display it in a different way to the original. So this version starts with the Sheriff scene, cuts to the shooting in B&W which is used as a bridge to the hospital. The Bride gets to the car and then it jumps forward to the death of Vernita Green. The narration “When God smiles on something… etc.” is used as a bridge to the Origin of O-Ren chapter, and it remains somewhat unedited until the end.

To be honest I’m not entirely sure why I’m doing this. I really like Volume 1 in its current state. This is something I did totally on a whim.

For Volume 1, the source was the uncut Japanese DVD, so the Crazy 88 showdown is in full colour and extended. However I did prefer the original’s black and white, and I want to bring it across in this cut without “censoring” the blood. So what I wish to do is have the entire scene in black and white except for the blood, which stays red. However I have no idea how to do this.

Volume 2 I have tentative plans at this time to speed up the pacing with the removal of lots of lengthy and unnecessary dialogue.
