Fantastic Four (2005) - Extended Cut in HD

I have the DVD burned as an ISO file, but when I try to do an upscale burn to an MKV it always stops at the 50 minute mark.

I’d love to find a way to get an HD copy of this though. Loved the EE of this movie.

Disney has been putting some of their films on other platforms lately. Apparently HBO Max had the extended version of Fantastic Four in 2020. That’s the only way unless Apple let’s people download the special features instead of just the main film. https://comicbook.com/movies/amp/news/fantastic-four-extended-edition-coming-to-hbo-max/

Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring - Extended Edition - 4K Dremastered

Hello Dre, when running the film through Topaz did you upscale each shot or did you run the whole film? I’ve heard things about Topaz intoducing artifacts from the previous frame to the next, when changing to a different shot, so I wanted to know if you have encountered something like thsy with the recent Topaz releases. I’m mainly asking because I’m trying to upscale some of my blu rays to 4k and it seems like you would probably notice if the issue happend to you.

Did anyone ever do this? I bought the movie on iTunes and have been trying to record it with OBS but the recording comes out choppy. I’ve tried to record in various frame rates and they turn out choppy. Any help with that would be appreciated?

How are you able to get to this from your iTunes purchase? When Apple originally offered this as an iTunes Extra when buying the main film, it was a separate download. However, after some time, they made it streaming only (but if you had bought it prior to that cutoff date, it would still be a downloadable file for you).

Which avenue is the one you are using? (although I suspect it’s streaming from your post

Yeah, I’m streaming it.

Return of the Jedi: The Destiny Edition v1.0 | Theatrical Reconstruction in 4K (Released)

We plan to follow the same standard as the 4kxx releases.

That being said the difference between theatrical and GOUT for Jedi is 2 frames in the middle of the film so you wouldn’t notice any issues if you mixed a GOUT synced track into Destiny.

Yeah I know 😃. I was mostly asking since I feel like if it’s supposed to be theatrical it should include those frames. Not everyone feels that way though
