STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Information from Adywan:

"Ok guys, i've been quiet lately due to the fact that my internet sucks. had little or no connection for days now and i'm having to use a pre-pay mobile internet dongle, which give you no internet time at all.

I'm down to my last 30p credit on it and i refuse to pay for any more, especially when i'm already paying for net use with my ISP. Doesn't look like the problem is going to get fixed any time soon either(crappy TalkTalk). when i do get a landline connection it has been 32kbit/s, which is slower than bloody dial up."

He wants you guys over here at OT.com to know this because he really needs to reply to a load of stuff here but alas the page will just not load, don't worry though he is currently working hard on Empire: R and will be back here as soon as things gets sorted.

Well sure the Stormies could have fired better, but alas they have to wear that helmet of theirs, not easy to be accurate in that I must say...I have tried one and well..it's not that easy.

Sure if they have buildt in help like targeting sensors, heat cam, target tracking and so forth I can see them hitting more often, but on the other side see how very effective they are against non hero types: Lars and Owen Beru, Jawas and The rebels in Tantive VI

But than again we also have angry teddybears....hmm..I am confused :P

The Facebook event is here, but donations are welcome at the aforementioned site.

Happily donated what I would have paid for the blu-rays, to the Revisited project! :)

Thank you very much for your donation TB5918:) Most kind !

Even in the comparison images by adywan there is a shot with a missing rotoed part when a tie fighter explodes outside the MF gunner cockpit. You can see the gray explosion via the yellow explosion.
Which comparison?

Look up in your site silly :P

Since you are the almighty knitpicker and such a bad arse at spewing out negative comments on whats wrong with the movie, why don't you try to show us how things can be better by doing it yer self eh?!

Remember this is still a "fan edit" and Adywan learned how to do it all as he went along, I have to be honest and say I am rather impressed at how much he learned, he editet the movie with such grace that many that have found it ( me amongst them ) now use as a 1st choice instead when is comes to the Lucas or Adywan dvd.

Sure you might sit up there on your high and might chair and get all the "Aohs" and "Aahs" from your little click of followers when you point out what you deem wrong or flawd, sure you hand out all these shiny and too perfect and somewhat odd placed ( story wise ) pictures that not always seem to fit in with Adywans vision for the movie(s). perhaos you should try to put your pictures into motion and then try to show us how good things can be!?

But...who then will "Ooh" and "Aah" ? At times it can almost seam like you are envious at the attention Adywan is getting from this edit, so you have to grab some of this fame for your self, you know if you have such a negative feel about this project you can try to make your own edit and flog that on the web to get groupies.

Get a band together and start your own project, see how that feels when the work start to mount up, how much it costs of time and money and how it feels when you have several annoying star wars fanboys yapping at your every move... I bet it starts to get bloody annoying and very old..very fast.

Adywan has surrounded himself with ppl he trusts and he gets good and honest advise back from them, he posts info and updates on the web out of generosity and I think its awesome. Then the least one could do is to back him up on a positive note instead of bragging how about your own work and knitpick a 1 second frame to death...

You ain't supposed to go through the film frame by frame and just try as hard as you can to find flaws, thats just oddly wrong. o.0

No but seriously, I don't think a large Lambda shuttle would be used by a mere Captain........Needa just isn't that posh like Palps & Vader....or Tarkin........maybe Piett.......The TIE shuttle should have stayed........out of focus, let your mind fill in the blanks, it doesn't have to be the repeditive Lambda class.

But I know Ady has his mind set on this....so I'll not bring it up again.

J

No but seriously, I think you might be a tad wrong, if I may point out that in the next film a Lambda shuttle is used for "mere" crew and technical parts for the forrest moon.

Not even Piett or his Lieutenant bats an eye at the Lambda shuttle, so I think they are are used quite often, the question is, should Vader and the Emperor arrive in mere cargo and crew shuttles?

The Executor having reverse engines would sound fine and all, but I think they were made for a more modest space age, not for the age of mass produced warfare of this scale.

I dont think the Empire would even play with he thought of putting that on such a big ship like that, it's supposed to be their Titanic and no force in the universe could stand against it when used in a fleet.

Much unlike the Rebells, the Empire does not belive in small victories..it's conquer or destroy...not live to fight another day.

Thats actually a good idea Monro, but how about making them another colour than red as alomost everything else has that colour?

Blue? green?

Would be a good idea for a large and busy city like this to actually have some kind of warning lights ob them, unless they want a some sort of a shuttle or craft in their window.

Like a fox hole it's always nice to have 2 or more entraces / exits, Leia and that dude that's infront of the bad bluescreen does indicate that there are more than one entrance / exit.

North and south entrance was it?!

Well, medical droid or not, that droid might think it very helpfull for the rebs to get these heavy items loaded and why would a droid have "thoughts" like these?

Well it might have been around for some time and like many other droids have a unique perspective and "sentient" ( see for unique droids: R2-D2, C3-P0, IG-88 ) on what is needed or not in a war situation..

The reason I was askig for a copy of the NTSC version is that i have tried to burn it a few times but it always ends up with a problem dvd, and since I get a few ppl begging me for a copy I thought it was nice to have a workign one i could use for copying.

JediWheelz do you need a PAL or NTSC copy?

Guys we have to realize that not everyone likes the same thing, even if the majority of a group likes it someone will always stand out as the oddball that does not.

Sure I find it strange too, thinking: "heeey, is this some kind of a windup by a troll"? or is he just the oddball person?

Strange though that he is willing to turn down the whole movie for one scene, it's not like this is some cheap arse Asylum movie made for a sci-fi channel release..so I would say to bad he does not have an open mind, his loss.

Wonder what this person thinks about what Lucas re-edited in this film!?

When it comes to fireing at the feeling rebel ship, I personally think it's a very good idea..how else could they be able to disable the transports? By pulling them over with tractor beams and giving them a ticket for speeding?

This is the reason why Captain Lennox says: "Good, our first catch of the day" because for them it's supposed to be an easy catch, if the ION cannon hadn't fried his ship I am sure he would have managed to stop the transport.

Strange thing is, why didn't Captain Lennox open fire in any of the Lucas (re-edited) film(s) if the plan was to catch the rebels..?

Wow, that is an amazing idea for the Vader transmission.

I mean it's obviously not a hologram, but still that could really work. Love it!

I love it !! its a good take on the same old suggestion :) but it might be a bit far off target for some as they expect a holo and not a screen, all depends on the eye of the beholder I guess.
