Who Would Win?
Time
Oh, yeah, that's right! Sorry, the Daredevil movie didn't leave that big of an impression on me, but I do believe I know who you're talking about. I knew the name sounded familiar. I've never seen him interact with Spider-Man, though. Based on what little I do know, though, I'll have to say Kingpin in a straightforward fist fight. Luthor has no chance there, especially the Gene Hackman version. ^_^

The Most Boring Commentator Ever
Time
I don't know who else here as subjugated themselves to this, but I've been watching all six movies with commentary. I've watched the original trilogy (well, the 2004 almost but not nearly original trilogy) and am now on Attack of the Clones. And I just have to say that George Lucas is the most boring person to listen to. I mean, I already knew this from watching all those documentaries. If you listen to him speak for five minutes, then you pretty much know what he's going to say for the next five hours and fifty-five minutes. It's like he says his spiel and then someone hits the rewind button. In the original trilogy, every thing he said was along the lines of, "Now, when we did this, we couldn't quite get it the way I wanted. Now, with digital technology, I wouldn't even have to worry about something like that. I could have just...." and so on. He must say that same thing five thousand times. Mix in a few, "If you watch the movies in their intended order, you'll be able to see how this works," and, "I write the movies as though it's like music with the same refrain only orchestrated differently." Yeah, other people refer to that as rehashing ideas, but I digress. ^_~ But it is true in the commentaries, because, in the prequels, he is still constantly talking about digital technology, only he "orchestrates it differently." "The cool thing about this is that none of it's real. The digital technology really frees you up. I couldn't have even thought about doing this 20 years ago." He never shuts up! He sounds like my mother!

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.

The Things We Hate And Love Thread .
Time
Being in college, a lot of people walk everywhere, so there's plenty of pedestrian traffic crossing the street. I'm fine with that, as I do it myself. What I hate, though, is when they act so arrogant to the cars, not even looking at the two-ton automobile coming right up on them. It's usually ditzy sorority girls anyway, and I have to strongly resist the urge to simply run them over (and not listen to my girlfriend sitting next to me who's yelling, "Get 'em! 50 points!" ^_^).

Well, my goal is to get 3,000, but I'm certainly not going to spam to get there. But it is my day off work, so, if the boards are alive with activity, I might be spending a long time here. It's really weird, but as soon as I posted that first post about this, the boards immediately seemed to practically die out!

its ok some lines are very short.

HanParts and technical crew for the forest moon.

Vader:Do they have a code clearance?

Um, no, actually, those lines come after Vader makes his appearance.

It goes:

Vader: Where is that shuttle going?
Piett: Shuttle Tydirium, what is your cargo and destination?
Han: Parts and technical crew for the forest moon.
Vader: Do they have a code clearance?
Piett: It's an older code, sir, but it checks out. I was about to clear them.

And then
Luke: I'm endangering the mission. I shouldn't have come.
Han: It's your imagination, kid. Come on. Let's keep a little optimism here.

And then continuing on to YIYF's last post.

End of SE ROTJ...
Time
Better-looking Jabba? The '97 Jabba looked remotely like a very sad, crying Jabba. The '04 Jabba looks more fierce and realistic, but he doesn't look anything like Jabba the Hutt! And my main bitching point is that that scene exists at all!

Ugh, I remember my friend's ex-girlfriend once tried to argue the point with me because she thought that the Jabba scene was actually in the original cuts with only the original actor in there. And though my friend used to be a huge Star Wars nut, he wouldn't back me up!

X-MEN 3 PSYCHO REVIEW
Time
Wait a second. Cyclops dies?! Forgive my Marvel Universe ignorance, but isn't he the leader of the X-Men? Do these movies even remotely follow the comic universe at all? I haven't seen any of the movies, but from the trailers, they all seem to be Wolverine-fests with a little bit of Captain Picard (I know he's Professor Xavier...) mixed in there.
