The Vaultbreakers Collection - Disney Preservations

I've moved *TWICE* and had some technical difficulties. Good hardware, nowhere to hook it up...yet. (PCI Express vidcap card in a quadcore with 8 GB RAM. Needs a faster hard drive though.) I'm gonna figure it out later.

My main machine got damaged, and I've only ever come on here from that one since I got it. That's why I haven't been on. Got bored, wondered what the status was on another project, and came back.

Just build yourself a new computer if need be. Monoprice has cables on the cheap and very great quality.

So...Anyone else playing Deus Ex 3?

As the record states- I am a huge fan of the first 2. So this is definitely high on my list of games to play, but like [CE](3?)[PR](3?)(i?)[CSX]/i, I can wait out a price drop a little bit.

Toys'R'Us ad shows them having DE:HR PS3/360 for $35 next week.

That's a pretty tempting price... but as I said, it's a matter of time as well as price. By the time I have time, the price will probably be even lower.

Would be nice if the price was also for PC release. From what little screenshots I've seen, it mirrors almost implicitly the great film Blade Runner. Gives me a chance to replay the first two Deus Ex games before playing Human Revolution.

Conan The Barbarian 1982 US Theatrical Edition & BONUS! *RELEASED*

Hi Everyone,

Is there anyone here who has the capabilities to capture a Netflix streamed HD broadcast of Conan The Barbarian? I just found out it is the Theatrical version, and this version was not released on the recently released Blu-ray, in any Country, the only thing I would need to know first though is it in its correct aspect ratio, a few years ago it was broadcast on Universal HD and the aspect ratio was messed up, it was 1.85:1, Thanks.

Here's to hoping it has original 1.0 mono track. I'll look online.

I feel like you are just using that as an excuse. There are reviews and plenty of other methods to try out games before you buy them these days. It is not an excuse for piracy. I suspect you don't always check for a demo before you download, if you do I'd be impressed. And I'd be even more impressed if you download brand new $50 dollar games, play them, like them, then run out and buy them the next day, or delete them the second you realize it isn't a game you'd spend money on.

Not all games I buy are always $50. Quite an extensive wishlist on various websites. If there is a game I like which I have downloaded I do in fact buy it. There have been bad eggs and those were a waste of a download.

Reviews don't mean much as they used to be years ago. Duke Nukem Forever is a certain game I shall never waste time on. But as said certain games so old they're not supported by the companies so makes zero difference if I download them or not. Many of them on Steam or gog.com

That image I have my image in, I proudly have owned it since its release.

Wow, first day under the whole no moderation thing, and we already have wares links! I don't see this going over very well...

But yeah, if you are into stealing games, PC is totally the best platform. Damn consoles and their copy protected games!

Try before you buy.

That is what demos are for.

Kind of funny, the other big PC gaming advocate in these parts mentioned getting some of his games from torrents... I am sensing a pattern.

Anyway, I love this image from Zero Punctuation:

I have not watched Zero Punctuation for awhile. Not enough companies are releasing demos, excluding PC Gamer.

Young Indiana Jones... a preservation (* unfinished project *) - a mass of info & ideas

I actually believe this series had more to do with Lucas than Speilberg... However, it was shot on 16mm and not video so it could indeed look great on Blu-ray; however, I don't think there's enough of a demand for them.

The DVDs are already expensive as it is. No interviews with the stars for each episode, they were not well known then but they're better known now, instead they put a lot of educational docus on it. Unfortunate.

Idea: ALIEN Appendix collected as a Blu-ray?
Time

The Aluminum Falcon said:

That could be an interesting idea but as said before on the Evil Dead thread, these are all SD materials, AFAIK, and it's probably best on DVD, so the upconverting players can do their job. Still, some official BDs have SD Bonus Content.

Would be easier since it'd be all on a single disc instead of many DVDs. Would even fit with the Alien Anthology set.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time

The Aluminum Falcon said:

Hi FremenDar, I believe that an AVCHD was released by someone onto the Newsgroups but it was not Adywan. It was actually just an upscaled version of the DVD, but some said it looked pretty good; it may actually be an interesting upload to tehparadox.

Anyway, the "official" Adywan 720p HD version comes after ROTJ: Revisited.

Thanks. I'd much rather have 720p compared to an upscale.
