"Doctor Who" (1996) at proper speed [AUDIO FINISHED; VIDEO SECOND PASS IN PROGRESS]
Time

Isn't VMWare or BootCamp also being able to use for Windows operating systems if native one is Apple based? My native operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I use VMWare for both XP and 98 for programs which won't run on my native one.

Good to see a fellow Doctor Who fan working on a way to retain the film speed instead of PAL which isn't its native format. The rest of the Classic Doctor Who range I own as PAL only, the Current with Series 1-4 being PAL DVD but the Specials, Series 5 and 6 are Blu-ray disc format.

Though I'm still looking for a preservation for the Loose Cannon Productions VHS to DVD as PAL and the Silver Nemesis longer cut including behind-the-scenes again from the PAL VHS release. Doesn't need to have any menus either if needed.

The best surround mix (5.1, 7.1 or anything surround) you've ever heard.

Don't have a Blu-ray player, PlayStation 3 or Blu-ray drive?

I think few posters on this site unintentionally make me laugh as much as FremenDar :D
It sounds like he's going to link to sites that sell them. Worst spambot every, Fremen! ;-)

I was going to spam some affiliate links for Hong Kong and Japanese DVDs and Blu-rays for some great films with stellar surround tracks. does it use html coding or the bracket one?

Yes The Terminator is a BD25.

Then yes I am in fact interested. Feel free to private message me.

First, do you think I uploaded the entire finished BD? because if you did, you are mistaken, all I did was make the audio file for the BD in complete sync, you have to remux your own BD yourself, the links I am sharing are for audio only.

That's fine.

Check your PM's.

About to remux, make iso and mount with Daemon Tools before burning. Thanks dark_jedi! If you might have any other original audio tracks as PCM to share for Blu-ray it'd be great. Aren't there ones for the 007 films? Could replace the dub tracks and put it there instead. The monoaural, stereo and surround ones.

TV Shows on DVD ruined by music replacement or cuts/edits: Restoring them back to original state (a project) (Update: The Andy Griffith Show: Season 3 DONE)

Quantum Leap =/

Seasons 2 and 3 have their music retained from Region 2 UK PAL land. Season 4 is where the real trouble lies. No studio release has the music retained.

So yes, one needs to import both Season Two and Three for music retainment from England which I've already done many years ago. Grab the audio from Netflix and place it with the video from the DVDs for Season Four.

Idea: ALIEN Appendix collected as a Blu-ray?

So would you consider doing a project like you suggested with permission from the original Appendix creators? Your familiarity with MultiAVCHD is a good start.

If someone does this I still have all of the original files on around 10 DVDS for Alien Redux Workprint (Appendix 2) in DV format.  This would be a better source to author a Bluray as the DVD was authored at a lower bit rate to fit.

All they'd need to do is make a Blu-ray disc. keep the same menus but have all the content. Would rather have Alien Redux Workprint in HD compared to SD resolution on another disc.

Could even be two discs with labels and cover art for Blu-ray to go with the ALIEN Anthology.

Video Games - a general discussion thread
Time

Bought BioShock 2 for PC the other day from Best Buy for $5.38. Unfortunately unlike the previous game it doesn't support XBOX 360 for PC controllers so I made an XPadder profile for it. BioShock Infinite looks quite enthralling and the 15 minute demo video of it is remarkably outstanding.

Because of this I have re-installed both System Shock 1 & 2. 2 has texture and mesh packs around but for 1, best to use DOSBox.
