I'd just need Season 4 with original broadcast audio. Was going to make custom NTSC discs for Season 2 and 3 using the PAL audio from the releases I own but got too frustrated with it.

AC3 tracks are from the UK PAL DVDs which I own. The NTSC DVDs of Season 2 and 3 are from Netflix. They're on my computer. If anyone else would care to make NTSC 2.0 versions of these using the PAL audio for the retainment of everything, be my guest. Still unsure what I should do about Season 4.

I have another personal fun project I'm working on.

Well this project is indefinitely on hold. I'll be uploading the PAL audio from Seasons 2 and 3 to Mediafire along with the NTSC DVDs of those two Seasons. If anyone else is actually willing to give it a go beat my guest.

Quantum Leap was shot on film. I just have the audio from a PAL source which I'd like to synchronize to the NTSC video source and then redo it as a DVD ISO. On Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit because fuck Apple.

I used AVS Audio Editor and messed about with the timing but they only use percentages.

Well project is at a stand-still. Needing an audio program which will let me change the timecode and length of the AC3 track from the PAL discs which I have to match with the video of the NTSC DVD release.

Would there happen to be a program or application to edit a PAL audio track so it matches with the exact timeframe to NTSC video? I'll be testing out Adobe Premiere Pro soon.

This is for QUANTUM LEAP NTSC 2.0 project.

Netflix is still a go but in July. Going to be renting Season 2 and 3 on disc from there. Season 4 I'm still going to need the broadcast audio. My apologies for the short hiatus.

92.9% at 8kbps-10kbps down while 250~kbps up. 4 days left.

This is why I sometimes loathe torrenting and downloading from somewhere such as RapidShare or MediaFire through a Pastebin in PM would be far faster. Yes I already wrote on the two BD25s I'm going to use to burn this to.

If Hulu does have the original versions, I can easily save the FLV files from the site with TubeDigger (I've purchased the program, and it's come in handy on stuff like that), and extract the audio from there. If anyone can confirm that they are the originals, perhaps I can help in that regard, at least.

I was attempting to watch Disco Inferno from HULU and it said they didn't have it due to rights issues.

All the audio is on my computer for Seasons 2 and 3 in AC3 format. What I need now is the exact NTSC episode run times to the millisecond so I can re-time these already. Next month I'll be rejoining Netflix so I can rent the 12 discs in question. Then what I'll be doing with Handbrake is rip individual episodes as high quality .m4v files which will be uploaded via MediaFire and links will be shared in PM with a PasteBin link.

The individual episodes for Seasons 1 and 5 are already uploaded to Mediafire with subtitles embedded. Zero denoising or any other filter applied. This show was shot and film and shall appear to be as film, grain and all.

Season 2-4 discs will be in ISO format.

In fact this is my first project.

Small update. I might or might not add subtitles to Seasons 2 and 3 since I haven't any idea how to add them to the VOBs.

The individual episodes are also going to be available for those wishing to watch them on a computer. The srts will be archived with the episode in question.

I think it might be easier to just have the audio from the episodes and then the PGC for the video. Otherwise I wouldn't have any idea what to do to add in the songs while removing the muzak.

Now how do I go about doing that?

Can I use TMPGEnc to make VOB files? It's NuMenu4U is giving me MPEG2 errors and zero IFO file.

I have a spindle of BD25s from Optical Quantum and no BD50s. As you've mentioned BD50s are expensive.

Seasons 1 and 5 are fine everywhere.

Seasons 2 and 3 DVD releases in Region 1 have their music altered. It's not the case for Region 2 UK which is PAL. Since I own Season 2 and 3 DVDs from Region 2 with the music retained, I'll be doing some PAL to NTSC conversion and adding English subtitles.

Season 4 is a tricky matter. Both Region 1 and Region 2 DVD releases have the songs changed. All someone would need to do is to rip the DVDs for the video, excise the audio and use the audio from Netflix streaming.

I'm using Doctor M's guide for PAL to NTSC conversion but it's my first time doing this.

There'll be a status update for Seasons 2-4. Will be working on a single disc at a time.

Any chance I could add subtitles from .srt files if the original DVDs never had any? I'm converting my PAL DVDs of QUANTUM LEAP Season 2 and 3 to NTSC.

Will there ever be BD25 AVC (instead of MPEG2 480p) versions of any of the ALIEN Appendices discs? Perhaps even a 1080p version of the ALIEN: Extended Edition? Already own the UK ALIEN Anthology Blu-ray set and I was going to buy another multi-disc Blu-ray case. Only so I won't use anymore DVDs and have everything on Blu-ray for these.

Have this really been confirmed? I guess a PCM rip would be nice anyway, as there's a pretty big chance the mono mix will be lossy on the Blu-ray if they include it.

The mono mix is going to be lossy, unfortunately. Pity Universal UK might not do what they did for PSYCHO Blu-ray which was having the original cinematic audio be lossless. Whenever I watch the 30th Anniversary DVD I always choose the 1.0 track.

Sounds as though captainsolo needs a receiver which supports HDMI, Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HD Master Audio and LPCM.

BATMAN (1989) Blu-ray 5.1 TrueHD sounds shit because it was lowered 4Db.

Since the JAWS Blu-ray is only going to have 7.1 DTS-HD MA, anyone have a high bitrate PCM track from the Signature Collection Laserdisc? Similar to what dark jedi did for The Terminator. Glad I have a Blu-ray disc burner but BD50s are expensive.

I'm interested in these HDTV captures. Makes me wish Universal would go back, make 4K resolution scans without DNR and re-release the Blu-ray Trilogy. Also would be great if they could offer a disc exchange program.

Does the HDTV keep the film grain? I wouldn't be interested if there was noise reduction applied.

I have the 1984-1995 Gojira series as 720p with English subtitles burnt onto a BD25. More for keeping the files as is.

I'd rather have Return of Godzilla with English subtitles. From the Blu-ray.
