Do you still have this? I’d like to get a link.
Do you still have this? I’d like to get a link.
A good way to tell the difference is looking at the backgrounds. The movie ones aren’t as detailed.
Can anyone tell me if a telecine or something exists of these animations?
So Notelu recently released a video on the missing screen projections for Pink Floyd’s The Wall tour, and I thought: if they can’t or won’t release the originals, could we not reconstruct them a la Despecialized Editions? Given that much of the needed material has been released in one way or another, a little upscaling and rotoscoping should yield results that at least come as close as possible.
It looks fine to me, but I’m not sure if I can shell out $300 on something like this.
I’d be happy to see that.

A video that shows the difference between the Sword in the Stone blu-ray and the 4K Disney+ version. Almost day and night.
I see! They appear to have learned from their mistake.
It does sound stereophonic.
Couldn’t we get anything from the telephone wires?

Don’t know if Aristocats HDTV version is better than BD, probably not…
The aristocats HDTV is miles better than the Bluray!
It retains the grain!
There is a custom BD-50 of it in circulation.
Does anyone have this. please?
I’d like to know where to find this too
Me too!
You know… I completely forgot I had this lying around.
Any chance I could get a link too?
Brilliant!
This is a ten-year-old thread… 😮
Looking forward to it!
How is it?
No, I can’t, I absolutely can’t. Trying to do it causes my computer to lock up entirely. Poita, I am BEGGING you to fire me!
I’m going to take another look at it today. It’s been far too long, I’ve shirked my duty long enough.
Where should I go to make a donation?
I’ve donated $2. Let me know if you need more.
Yeah, that was me. Also, the Kino Lorber Blu-ray has the original TV version as well as the “Theatrical” version. I’ve personally decided to try and tackle the task of restoring the rough cut myself. I don’t know if I’ll finish it, but Lord knows I’ll try!
Ooh, I’ll have to check that out when I get the chance!
Um, in the future, I’d suggest you actually do some research, because Ego Trip WAS released on DVD. Not only that, the entire show was available to own on DVD and you can watch it via Amazon UK. “Cartoon Network refuses to release older Cartoon Network TV materials” indeed.
Well, there is that one cartoon they haven’t released…
.
The image is broken. But I did have that idea once, I’d like to see how you do it!
