On 'SW: ROTJ' I'm only missing the last 8 seconds of the credits, then it just jumps back to the menu (blank background menu in my case) but never hangs... but then we are using a decent/recent OS which hasn't really crashed sinced we've had it, as it bRudy should be. [^_^]

Is it just me or is 'SW: ROTJ' noticeably darker in brightness & contrast compared to Ep: IV & V

Any one else getting CRC errors on part 91 of the reposted (final) New Hope? I've redownloaded that file twice?

Nope. All files working. All films watched. All love for Wookie Groomer. \[^_^]/

I still don't have a working menu for Jedi (as in blank menu backround) even with the replacement files that WG was 'ever' so kind to repost for me, but no matter, I can still find the text when I hover around the screen and can still navigate to the film eventually too.

My only wish would be to have enough time to build my own DTS audio track from 'ANH' and shove it in, but life isn't so simply currently, so it'll have to wait.

Oh and... Three cheers for WG, the Jedi Master!!!

The files on the group are called FazZFazZFazZFazZ I thought it would be obvious.

Very obvious... yet when I looked up posts just by you (WG) it would normally show everything else you have posted, but not my little (very kind) gift.  I had tried 'FazZ' before but didn't work, then I searched for the 'FazZFazZFazZFazZ' it came up straight away via a.b.starwars.  No idea, but show that my search method doesn't work so great.

Thank you and for your amazing work!!! [^_^]

Hmm... I'm even thinking of ripping the DTS Audio from the damaged m2ts and fill-in the gaps with DD.  Odd I know, but may work and would at least mean a 'mostly' DTS version was there. d[-_-]b

LMAO... I opened the previous version of 'ANH' and it got stuck again... silly me... almost thought 'Oh no not again' but it's KooL and 'ANH' is working fine... I think.

I say I think... because... the audio delay seems noticable when playing via the index file, such as say playing as a standard BluRay disc.  Playing the index file through TMT (Total Media Theatre) seems to have a few miliseconds of delay.  However when I play the stream files directly through TMT or MPC-HC (Media Player Classic Home Cinema) it plays perfectly well.

I know, I'm being a pain, but can anyone out there please confirm if it is just me?  I'm about to update my Nvidia drivers to 190.62 (for Windows 7 x64) which I doubt will make much difference to this issues, but you never know!?  Anyway, if some could try the above and see if works better or the same please, it would be great to know.

Lastly, what can be done about the 'DTS mix' on 'ANH'... is this something to re-build on future work or have you really given up on it?  No way of salvaging the audio from the damaged BD?  I only ask as I'm not a huge fan of Dolby, but it'll do if other options are to much effort?

Thanks WG, but errr... I am merely a human and can not find the post.

Can you please give me a clue to what I could search for, as it doesn't come up under your name 'nospam@no.spam (WookieGroomer)'.  Sorry to be a pain and please ask your misses to go easy, your amazing work is 'in' demand!!!

If Jedi is crapping durring the end credits I am not going to worry about that. End credits are for losers that refuse to leave the theater :p

I may not agree with your film politics, but enjoy your film re-work a lot!  [^_^]

SW: ANH - 3rd version has finally finished and uncompressing.  Will give you an update shortly.

SW: ROTJ - 2nd version seems the same even after I reboot.  I can see the thumb showing ' Jaba & Leia' for 00003.m2ts but it doesn't actually play through anything for me?!  I have feeling it's just my setup and a random problem, but just one I've not seen before.  If anyone is bored, please 'rar' up and post the basic/small files that I could drop into my 'stream' folder and see if it helps.  TiA

Then I stand corrected and we'll wait for others to see if the fault occurs.

It maybe my system needs a refresh/reboot, as it's been on for 3 days straight editing/rendering film and random games.  I will try the menu again later when I can actually reboot, as the it's mid-rendering and I'm watching your amazing work on SW: ROTJ on the other screen. [^_^]

Sorry for the delay, busy evening.  Finally just got a moment to try out SW: ROTJ and the menu is for better word, broken.  The background image is missing or damage and does not display, so makes it hard to see what options are available?

I guess this is easily fixed by re-posting just the menu bdmv's and the relevant mt2s files which are small at least and easy to just drop into the folder for everyone to replace before burning it to some stone age BD or filing it on there precious limited space HDD's.

Looks like another mass moan is heading your way WG!

"I'M A MAJOR ASS BUT I HAVE A GOOD EXPLAINATION, I POSTED A PROPER RE-ISSUE FROM A BURNED BD50 THAT WAS CORRUPT AND DIDN'T KNOW IT" ...I was LMAO to that one! [^_^] ...and I still have fingers crossed as SW: ESB was damm good and looking at SW: ROTJ (about 30 minutes into it now) it's pretty damm good so far.

Thanks Wookie Groomer and looking forward to it. [^_^]

To be honest, I have NO idea why anyone is actually moaning at all?!  I certainly wasn't complaining, just stating the errors in case it was just me and if not me, then you would at least know at some point to hopefully correct this in your own time when ever you can.

I'am hugely greatful for your versions, as I only had the German HDTV ones that were worth watching over any DVD version I have and now your name will be a thrown about my little world for sometime until this all happens officially, if ever?  Thank you for taking the time to share your great work with us all!

Downloading these films hardly takes much time, compared to uploading them especially and if I need to re-download SW: ANH again, I have zero problems with that... even a third time etc!

Just wondering... does everyone in hear actually use BluRay discs for their films? I guess I'm a little anti-BD and prefer to have all my films on tap without having to find a bit of plastic, put in the optical drive, wait for it to do what it needs and eventually start playing.  The cost of HDD's are so cheap, its crazy and for that fact you can just keep adding them to an external SATA multi-box of many kinds... it just makes anything that is 'still' on a spinning medium... well... ridiculas... iMO.

Currently recieved 27.6Gb of ROTJ... almost there! [^_^]

Thanks for letting me know 'chobek', at least I can relax a little and stop screaming at my HTPC! LoL \[^_^]/

So far these are my results:

SW: ANH
Error/Freeze: 00:07:41 to 00:08:55
Sound missing: 00:15:55 'when C3 hits R2' ...is this correct
Error/Freeze: Another freeze-up after an hour or so into the film. Noticed it yesterday, but forgot where? Searching again.

SW: ESB
To me, seems near perfect, but if I'm picky the background from 00:03:03 to 00:15:15 seems a little washed out only in the snow scenes, as they are missing a small amount of detail that some previous releases had.  Not such a bad thing thought, as it looks far better overal and must have been tough to remaster.

SW: ROTJ
Can not say for now, as I've only recieved 24Gb of the complete file.

May I ask a stupid question?  Why wasn't an NZB file generated for all this seriously amazing work?  [-_-]

Ref: Star Wars - A New Hope - PROPER REISSUE

Anyone else have a playback fault at 00:07:41 when Laya meets Vader for the first time? Seems to be missing a chunk in the film and jumps to 00:08:55 to R2 & C3's scene in the desert.

I've tried playing it through 'Total Media Theatre' and my favorite 'HT MPC' but both have the exact same results.

Anyone else?  [-_-]

I know it's not much, but better than nothing or not saying anything at all!  [^_^]

From all the various versions I own of the original Star Wars trilogy, Wookie Groomers 2009 edition is the best by far and

thanks to you all, we'll now be doing a Star Wars trilogy evening with friends, finally in decent Hi-Def in every way possible in our little Home Cinema / Studio / Habitat.

Yep, I simply joined this forum, just to say thanks and to keep up-to-date.

Would love to see Wookie Groomers setup/kit.  \[^_^]/
