What was the story behind that?
There was a drive-in that refused to show it because they made a character gay. And because there was apparently some kind of a special message from him at the end (?) of the movie. They didnāt want Hollywood (paraphrasing) āforcing their views down their throats.ā So, instead, they forced THEIR views down their audienceās throats by making the choice for them and not showing the film.
