Harmy's STAR WARS Respecialized Edition '97 - AVCHD and MKV Released
Time

The LD 5.1 audio may be good, but with a compression of 384 Kbps it's about half as good as all the other primary tracks of the despecialized versions which are all encoded with 640 Kbps. Therefor I really like to have the DTS-HD track or an encoded 640 Kbps AC3 version of it. Isn't there an easy way for me like sending it to me or a place I can download it at?

I have downloaded the AVCHD version, extracted the m2ts file and muxed it to a mkv file. The thing that bothers me though is that it contains only one medium quality 384 Kbps AC3 audio track. Is there a way for me to obtain the DTS-HD track or a 640 Kbps re-encoded AC3 of it, without having me to download the whole 10,7 GB MKV version?

Harmy's Despecialized v1.0 of the original Trilogy has been released.  These were based off of HD TV broadcasts and other DVD sources?
Now that the Blurays have been released, Harmy is re-undertaking the mammoth task to give us an even better version 2.0 of his despecialized work.
Exactly. 2.0 is based on the Blu-rays, which has better fine detail than the HDTV and slightly better black levels.

That's not what I've read here:

"Even with Star Wars finally out on Blu-ray, Harmy doesn't plan to start the projects from scratch.

"I also decided against using the Blu-Rays as a source for the new versions, as I’d still have to work in 720p and from the comparisons I've seen between the Blu-Rays and the highest quality HDTV captures, the difference is so small (being the same resolution from the same master) that it wouldn't be worth it," he explained."

So I'm asking you, are there any subtitles available and if so, is someone willing to share them with me ? I can't seem to find any. It would be greatly appreciated.

Subtitles in sync with Harmy's versions can be found here:

A New Hope 1977 Original Unaltered Trilogy

The Empire Strikes Back 1980 Original Unaltered Trilogy

Return of the Jedi 1983 Original Unaltered Trilogy
