The Dark Empire story line is great for lovers of the Original Trilogy and if you like the Prequel Era, maybe reading the Clone Wars comics would be interesting as well, originally they were called Republic when they were first published as comic books, but now they are compiled into several graphic novel omnibuses. Also, Star Wars Tales graphic Novels are great if you like any era in the Star Wars universe.
