The Living Daylights (1987)

Xavier Renegade Angel is one of the best things to have ever happened to television.

My favourite movie is The Godfather, so I guess I’ll go with Francis Ford Coppola.
The Cat In The Hat (2004)
Monty Python and The Holy Grail (1975)
Cross of Iron (1977)
The Guns of Navarone (1961)
First Blood (1982)
The Terminator (1984)
Both great films.

“You believe in Jesus?”
“Yes I do…”
“Well you’re gonna meet him”
I like 2010: The Year We Make Contact.
I’m not particularly fond of the score though, it isn’t bad, just mostly forgettable. I would’ve preferred if they stuck with using classic music as the score, with a bit of Blaster Beam here and there.
Eh, it still sucks.
Pretty much all poster art for wide releases look terrible nowadays, the only movie released this year that caught my attention based on poster art alone was Baby Driver. And that’s not even because I like minimalist poster designs (I think they can be quite pretentious actually), but because it was the most unique looking poster I saw in my nearest IMAX theater for duration of the year.
But anyway.

Once Upon A Time In The West (1968):
Not too long after I finished watching this, the John Wayne western El Dorado just happened to be showing on TV. It looked so pitiful by comparison.
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968):
I feel kind of bad for waiting until now to watch this, my viewing experience was somewhat tainted by years of hearing references to it throughout pop culture. I had already heard great things about the movie’s visual effects but never expected them to as good as they were (I was mostly just expecting them to be done with blue screen, which didn’t seem to be the case).
2010: The Year We Make Contact (1984):
I liked it.
Earl YouTube links are much like DuracellEnergizer YouTube links: You should never click on them.
Clicked on it, saw Spongebob, and immediately closed.

Calm down.
But anyway,
For A Few Dollars More (1965)
Not as good as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, but still pretty great.
Enough is enough! I have haaaaaaaaaad it!
There can never be enough.

Dear Valve Software:
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Dunkirk (2017)
I didn’t really like the score, but it was good enough.
Barry Lyndon (1975)
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966)
Enemy Mine (1985)
Airplane! (1980)
Das Boot: Director’s Cut (1981)
Where Eagles Dare (1968)
Got these for my birthday today, not exactly “buys” but close enough I suppose.

Haha, this is quite stupid.
Baby Driver (2017)
Pretty good, although the action scenes were probably cut a bit too quickly for my liking. There was only one scene in the whole movie I disliked but it was an enjoyable experience.
Nearly everything released through MGM looks horrible in one way or another, and that’s not counting the 007 movies.
