Yeah, except some added cgi to the trees at kashyyyk.
Yeah, except some added cgi to the trees at kashyyyk.
I know, but like I said I’m a completionist, and would like it for historical purposes.
(Yes, I know the prequels are not good movies, but I would like to have the theatrical cuts as a completionist)
Is anyone working on a theatrical reconstruction of the Star Wars prequels, with color correction like the despecialized editions did? If there is a thread for that, can someone please direct me to it?
I assume it’s still available from Movies Anywhere??
Nope, sadly. I bought the 3d collecters edition and the bonus features for that did not redeem. While on the phone with someone at movies anywhere, they said that they only have the standard edition bonus features on the site right now for the force awakens. But the disc has all the features that the target has I guess, so that’s ok.
Buy either the 3D Blu-ray or the Disney Big Sleeve edition. They’re on there.
Great, thanks!
I was thinking of buying the target exclusive blu-ray for Star Wars the Force Awakens, but noticed that the exclusive content was only redeemable through disney movies anywhere. Now that “Disney Movies Anywhere” is shut down, is there any way to watch/download that content?
Ok, thanks.
Well now I really want too 😃 what thread are you referring to as there are a few with spoilers allowed.
Oh, I can imagine how that must be, I actually enjoyed the movie but that’s just my opinion.
Im extremely sorry, next time I’ll make sure to look for a thread before I post one, thanks for alerting me.
Hi, does anyone know if disney has any plans to release the OT on 4k UHD Blu-Ray? (Sorry if there is already a topic on this).
If you simply want to ensure you have every official & non-official version of Star Wars (Episode IV) in your collector’s edition, this thread may be of use to you, particularly NeverarGreat’s index towards the end:
Bluto
Thank you so much, this is exactly what I needed! 😃
Hey, welcome to the Forum. Take a look around for a bit - you’ll find many new members have attempted to start similar projects. Perhaps someone is already doing what you’re looking for. The job may seem easy going in, but creating a truly unique new fan release that is very difficult to do considering the quality of work being done by various members here.
Otherwise, Good Luck.
*Hint: Asking for help in the first post, without laying out details of EXACTLY what you’d like to do, what you plan to include so far, etc. is unlikely to get your project much attention. Usually, members here judge whether to follow a project based on their belief that you are putting a lot of effort into it. So far you’ve shown only that you know the years in which the most prominently-changed "updates’ of Star Wars were released.
Sorry for the confusion, all I want to do is put together a set of discs that contain many releases of Star Wars. I don’t want to replicate any projects like Harmy’s despecialized, TN1’s silver screen edition or Harmy’s respecialized edition. All I want to do is put together a collection of all Star Wars releases. That included the 2004 dvd as well as the 2011 blu ray. I was just wondering if there was any releases that I was missing. I don’t plan on starting projects to improve the quality of these releases to HD or anything, I just want to put together a collection. If it’s on laserdisc or vhs, I can put it to dvd, simple as that.
I’ve banned it.
Ok, thank you for resolving the conflict. 😃
Well the other one has to go.

That’s fine, I don’t know how to remove it but I assume that you do, so I’ll let you take care of that if that’s what you want me to do, thank you for your time.
It’s not possible, and even if it was the potential for abuse is enormous. What you can do is create a new account with the desired name and a mod will ban the old one.
Be sure you choose the name you really want, because we don’t do this twice. 😉
No, that’s fine, it was really just a sort of pet peeve of mine, I’ll stick with the account I’ve got, but thank you.
Hi, for some reason, I did not choose a username when I started this account and would like to change my username to Pickle2503, my username for almost everything. Is there any way to do this? Thank you.
Hi, I’m putting together a sort of collecters edition of Star Wars (the original) and was wondering if you could tell me all of the releases of the films excluding the 1977, 1981, 1997, 2004, And 2011 editions. If I am missing any more please tell me, as I would love to include everything in this set
I just saw The Last Jedi in IMAX and noticed that there were no expanded scenes from what I can remember, despite the fact that Disney advertised filming some scenes in IMAX. Was this the case for anyone else?
