Luckily The Two Towers and The Return of the King aren’t affected, and the official Blu-rays of those films both look amazing.
The editions of The Two Towers differ. However, the colors on DVD EE and Blu-ray EE are the same.

What exactly differentiates you and 44rh1n’s version, what made you decide to build on his work?
44rh1n restored the colors only in the extended scenes. I used an extended Blu-ray for almost all the scenes, which is better quality than a theatrical Blu-ray.
Dwalin used my grades of the extended scenes, but went even further by completing a shot-for-shot regrade of the rest of the theatrical footage from the extended Blu-ray as well (unlike my release, which uses the theatrical Blu-ray for those scenes).
