I don’t necessarily need help on anything, but you should create a course about what you learn. I’m trying to get into manual restoration because automatic has a lot of downsides and I’m interested in starting my own Blu-Ray brand similar to Shout-Factory, Arrow Video, and other boutique brands.

What do you mean stolen? no one here is allowed to state these as “their property” Any edit made belongs to the respected copyright holder, in this case Disney/Lucasfilm. saying “Don’t steal my work” makes no sense, as you did not make it, just adjusted it, which in no way makes you entitled to own it.

Also on another hand the 2004 master (2011 Blu-ray) is terribly color graded, it has crushed blacks, unnatural hues, blues where there shouldn’t be any blues, and don’t even get me started on the magenta flashes.

First of all I mean I don’t want people to steal his color correction and label it as their own, so calm down bud. The color grade also has it’s downsides, but I like it. The only thing I have problems with really is the magenta flames. There’s no need to take a verbal dump on my opinion because you don’t like it.

The alternative ending doesn’t make sense for Ash vs Evil Dead though, and it’s so depressing. Why not have a good ending for Ash.

Trust me, the final project won’t be as saturated as you think. I also enjoy the color grade which is why the saturation isn’t changed very much.

Greetings again everyone! In order to compensate for the Empire Strikes Back restoration that won’t be coming out for a while, I’ve been working on an edit of ESP using the 2011 Blu-Ray release. There won’t be a whole ton changed besides little cuts here and there as well as some updated effects.

Video Specs and Ideal Size
Resolution: 1920x1080 H.264 24FPS
Bit-Rate: 25 - 40Mbps
File Size (Subject to Change): 10-30 GB

CURRENT CHANGES

Video Changes
-Added Original Trilogy and DrunkenMaster442 Logo.

-Added a tiny bit more saturation to the 2011 color grade.

-Additional glow to lightsabers (Very subtle and not seen in some shots).

-Beast arm hitting the ground shortened by a millisecond.

-Wipe transition from Darth Vader to exterior shot of Yoda’s house replaced with crossfade.

-Window and door of Yoda’s house glow more in exterior shot.

-Close up of R2D2 looking through window cut out.

AUDIO CHANGES
-New rain/thunder sound effect over exterior shot of Yoda’s house along with replaced R2D2 sound when he looks through window.

I’m not one to complain, but I made a good looking Empire Strikes Back restoration and one person replied like a week ago. Some guy releases an edit he didn’t even makes and everyone is all over it.

Photoshop might work, but exporting the video as an image sequence and going frame by frame is a grueling process. Even if it might just be 50 frames.
