I’ve only liked the prequel trilogy more as I got older, especially after finding extended edition edits and Clone Wars 2003. Having a fuller picture and being able to appreciate the themes and symbolism better improved my enjoyment while the action and silliness never bothered me. I also feel like a lot of people (me included) just jumped on the hate bandwagon without really understanding why.

On the other hand, I like TCW significantly less now that everything is out and I’ve been able to collect my thoughts on it. I don’t dislike it but there is way too much in the way of lost potential, mischaracterizations, lore inconsistencies, and other issues for me to really love it anymore. I’d still recommend it since its easy enough to watch and the shows following it are decent, though when watching the movies Clone Wars 2003 works a lot better as a 4th movie in the trilogy due to consistency and time commitment.

My OT opinions haven’t really changed at all, loved it then and love it now!
