The "Dr. Gonzo" Trilogy DVD Info and Feedback Thread (Released)

As Moth3r already said many of the preservation projects discussed here, such as alternate audio tracks to match up to your GOUT video, can be found in the alt.binaries.starwars newsgroup.

Dr_Gonzo'a set was posted in the alt.binaries.dvd group 74 days ago. Giganews might be the only provider with a retention that long....

WOW, it has been quite a while ago!
I Think this is when I got my set, it is still the one I watch most!

You should have mentioned it in the info page for this over at fanedited.net. That's quite misleading to people who want to download it and can't play it after spending some time dling it, plus not everyone has a multi region player or wants to buy one just for one or two little things. Quite shameful.

I know this is over a year old but I just had to reply!
Playing a PAL DVD has nothing to to with the players region,
I have all region 1 players and they will play PAL DVDs with
no problem as long as the disc is region free as this disc is!
When I do get a DVD the has a region outside of region 1
I just rip it removing the region code and then they will play also!
My players are all "brand name" mid-level, I had an older player at
one time that I would have to manually change fron NTSC to PAL
if I wanted to watch a PAL disc but still no problems.

Info Wanted: Whats the overall view on the best fan edits ?

I inserted some deleted scenes, yes, but I also took out a ton of garbage when it comes to the prequels. And with Ep III, I did extensive audio work just to get those Battle Droids to stop sounding like sissies. I did a separate round of extended editions for the prequels, but the "ADM Edits" are very much fan edits designed to remove a lot of junk and put in things that never should have been removed. In my own opinion, of course. ;-)

I have all 3 of the edits and I like them very much! as a matter of fact, I keep them in the same cases with my originals!
Thank you so much by the way, you do great work!

I am planning on grabbing the extended editions when I have the chance!

I had downloaded all of the babyhum Star Wars extras from

Those are great and I have shared them with friends that do not
have internet and we all enjoy them very much I can only imagine
these are must see!

Thanks to all for all of your work giving us a chance to see
these rare/oop programs!
