Team Negative1 - The Empire Strikes Back 1980 - 35mm Theatrical Version (Released)
Time

Let me begin by saying that I have no fond childhood memories of any of the Star Wars movies, which might seem strange for someone born in the '70s. I don't think I even sat through any of the OT from start to finish until the early 2000's and I certainly didn't know they were "special editions" at the time. And while I enjoyed all three of them I never really viewed them as something special, from the standpoint of movie production, story telling and acting.

Last night I sat through the Grindhouse ESB and I was TRANSPORTED!

All the visuals and all the sound and all the pace and emotion, they all came together in this "unaltered version". This wasn't just some BS "blockbuster movie", it was a film! And a fine one at that.  I finally get why the OT is so highly regarded by so many people on this planet. And I can officially count myself as one of them.  :-)

FANTASTIC work Team Negative1 !!
