I understand wanting to make the old 80's dub available, but I don't think there are many Brazilian fans as of now that really care about the old dubs, but I still get the whole ''historical preservation'' thing, but I edited the SE dubs to match the Theatrical audio right down to the sound effects, took a while because I had to pay attention to which sound effects were in the original, and which were added for the SE, so in the end I used a lot of the original Despecialized english track and only edited in the dialog.

Here's Star Wars, I'll upload Empire and Jedi as soon as they're ready.

Thanks bunnell79, you actually reminded me of the reason why I decided to edit the new dub to match the Theatrical Versions, which is so I could show them to my mother because she never saw Star Wars and is always confused about which movie is which.

I think there might be a bit of confusion there, CatBus, you see they did re-dub the film for the Special Edition, but it's a very common thing to re-dub a movie once it gets a new release, so even if the Special Editions were never made the movie would've still been re-dubbed.

I personally edited the audio, so there is no Jabba scene, the Emperor from Empire I actually used his dialog from the old VHS release because the new one has mostly different dialog, and Jedi Rocks was replaced, all while still being the same dub.

I will put up a download link for the files, is there a specific format I should render it to or can I just post a link to a .mp3 file?

For what it's worth, what I aim for is more like "international accessibility" than a "language archive".  For my purposes, once I have one good-quality dub in a given language, there's no need for more.  I know there's some value to someone in every iteration of every dub out there, but not to me--one dub per language is plenty in nearly every case, as far as I'm concerned.

So if anyone wants a true language archive including multiple iterations of dubs in the same language over the years, that's not really what I have.

The portuguese dubs present in the films are from very bad quality VHS rips with outdated terms for many of the characters and objects, as well as just not being any good at all in places, my edited dub is from a more recent, and competent, source taken directly from the 2004 DVD, I think it should be added.

Hello Harmy, I'm Dennis and I've worked on a few fan-edits in the past, most of which are on my Youtube account, but first I wanna thank you for the Despecialized Editions, the work you and the people involved did is magnificent.

What I wonder though is if there will be a future release of the entire trilogy, new sources, color-correction, that sort of thing because I recently edited the audio of my 2004 DVD Portuguese dub to synch with the Despecialized Editions and results so far were pretty good, and I wanted you to add those tracks to the Despecialized Editions in some way, since I haven't seen them available in the regular torrent releases.
