No originals = No sale. Period.

Hopefully, the bonus features will all be on a separate disc, so I can get it on eBay.

I just posted a video that shows how Lucas completely changed the color palette of the original trilogy in 2004. At the end, I plugged the petition. :)

When they released the 2006 DVD, Lucasfilm said that the laser disc ports were the best available source for the theatrical cuts.

It that is the case, where they did get the footage used in the "Empire of Dreams" documentary (included in the bonus disc of the 2004 DVD)? The footage in that documentary is definitly from the original version, and it looks better than what was relesed with the 2006 DVD.

What gives?

There is very very little chance that the theatrical cuts will be included with this release. But if they are, I'm sure they would the crappy laser disc ports we already have on DVD.
