I told ya these guys would know.

I'm more limited in the filters department because i usually deal with sources that have already been cleaned up and really don't need much, if any work at all.

dark_jedi's captures look very good, but they suffer from the softness inherint in the natural laserdisc source. He's considering creating a dual layer version of the Criterion Bladerunner LD which I don't consider entirely essential, however I do think the video would benefit from a sharpening filter and still be released as a very respectable single layer disc.

Yes, I believe Darth Editous encoded both NTSC and PAL versions straight from the source.

OK cool, well chapter points are a sinch with Adobe Encore, you can even set a poster frame for each chapter and create motion menus with chapter animations, background audio and other groovy stuff too.

Just wondering... is there a big demand for these dvds? Also wants on the bonus disc?

Aren't isos just compressed files, in theory similar in structure to rars or zips? If so isn't it near impossible to have two PCs with different specs, using different software create the same iso?
