I don’t know what you’re bitching about here. You don’t like the absence of Sith in the movie? That’s the filmmakers didn’t bother making Ren more visually unique in keeping with his status as a new kind of darksider?

If the former, boo-hoo; the Sith suck and they’ve almost singlehandedly ruined the franchise. If the latter, I’ll actually agree with you; Ren’s design is generic and lame.

Let me just say TFA will be massive let down to any purist. The darkside of the force=SITH even the shitty prequels kept to that! I assume Ren is the son of Leia (in order for him to have force powers) and thus Vader was his Granddad (hence why he “will finish what he began” then surely he should be a SITH and not the knights who say Ni!! Is Luke no longer a Jedi>? Or have they reworked that as well? I’ll just watch my laser discs and forget these films ever happened although sadly I can’t as I was genuinely distraught when leaving the cinema after viewing TPM. I liken it to a death in the family.

How can you fan edit shite, I mean any attempt to rectify the prequels is just a waste of effort. You can only work with the material given, which in the prequels is all terrible. PT=Prequel trilogy (padme and the one that looked the same) and yes whilst they weren’t true protagonists they had a lot of wasted screen time, but on reflection the whole PT was wasted film never mind screen time. I wasn’t having a dig at Leia 😉

It does when you specifically take issue with female main characters as if they deserve singling out as worse than male ones.

You didn’t just criticise wooden acting/characters. You attributed it specifically to a particular gender.

And you’d be right Natalie Portman and Keira knightley were less than usless in ‘those films’. And yes all other actors were just as bad , especially Ewan McGregor who killed the films from the very off, but sadly these films never stood a chance of being anything else but turd.

You’re talking about someone who apparently thinks the battle of Hoth didn’t take place over land and expecting anything that makes sense?

The battle of Hoth had NO x wings involved! If they had used a different craft I may have excepted it. It looks ridiculous IMO

So I fear a rehash of ANH and a bad one at that…Personally I’d rather see a release of the De-specialised versions!

If Lucas stuck to Propp’s narrative theory for the absolutely f**^ing Sh*t prequels then none of this would have happened. The SE and prequels should be burnt! If TFA is pants which I assume it will be, then add this to the fire!

Is it me or are they missing a massive trick? Correct me if I’m wrong but its not been rated yet. BUT I attempted to prebook the seats for the cinema and only adult,senior and student came up as options!! This makes me believe that it is going to rated 12 in the Uk?? Which takes all their market out, why sell toys and merchandise when the kids can’t even see the film??? Not counting the terrible prequels the OT was U rating, if they are adding gore in just to make the film darker then they are on the wrong track!

Doesn’t give much away about TFA

I honestly think they will never be seen again (restored), the only option is the old vhs versions/laser disc version and the 2006 'limited edition'  Bonus disc or Gout as you guys call it. I would really love to see HD versions of the OT and see all the SE and prequels destroyed (I cringe every time I see these films/characters). My only fear is what is yet to come (in terms of even worse films) and the fact that 'Princess Leia' will ultimately become a 'Disney princess'.  However ,I am interested in seeing fan HD versions but cannot for love nor money find the despecialised version anywhere???
