Haven't visited these boards in over a year now, but with TPM in theaters again, I finally got round to (trying to) edit the space battle at the end of TPM.

I always liked the design of TPM (not that there was anything else to like), especially the Naboo starfighters (visually and audibly) and the "Death Saturn" (as I like to call it).
By all logic, that space battle should have been awesome, but I have only seen it once or twice as I really just can't stand the way it plays out.

This was an attempt (more a proof of concept) to see if the battle itself could be made a bit more enjoyable (aka make Anakin a bit less useless/annoying)

Biggest changes:
- Anakin flying a starfighter is now part of the plan
- Anakin no longer arrives late to the battle
- Anakin knows how to fly
- Anakin _decides_ to take out the generator (instead of doing it all by accident)

Don't pay too much attention to the audio; it's a rough cut, and I'm not an editor, so I do mean ROUGH...

Are you sure you copied the _entire_ script? The median1 function is clearly defined at the end...

+1, the new ones are too yellow. The tweak in post 1134 looked better to me as well :-)

I really like how they look so far! Wouldn't even mind if they were final.

I remember liking "starting star wars", "starting wars" is a bit to vague I think.

I don't mind how it looks now, though more colour could be nice... Just so long as we don't get carrotpeople! ;-)

Quick question: since I have FireFox instead of IE7 it seems I can't save an image as bmp instead of jpeg. I tried to change manually the extension but didn't seem to work. Any thoughts ?

(IE7 was so much more comfortable... Sigh).

Why would you mount the image, copy the files, make a new image, and burn that?

Wouldn't it be easier (and better) to burn the original image?

Seems adywan is removing the outermost top structure when we first see Leia through the window, so the inside number of 'spokes' will seem fine now.

That was Mojo_LA (aka DarthMojo) I believe.

I think he left after the mostly negative (fanboyish) reaction to his "cons" list. Much like with Darth Venal, people on these boards don't seem to appreciate criticism if they come from pros.

I think he's trying to say that he wants to add the German subs or dub to ANH:R. There's something about him reinstating the Jabba scene as well as the extended Alderaan destruction scene.

An open ice plane would only reflect a blue sky directly upwards, A cliff would only reflect blue if the light was such that the sky colour would bounce more than the hue of direct sunlight.

Inside a cave I doubt if you would get any blue reflection at all.

What bothers me most is the snow. It looks like a close-up, and there's not a single footprint. How does that work? :P

I do like the upper half though!
