TR47 -- Thanks for the speedy delivery! Watched Star Wars (I hate calling it "A New Hope") tonight -- IT KICKS A@#!!! -- Video/Audio quality was far above my decent VHS widescreen set from '92. Supplements are a great bonus also -- especially since Lucas won't likely be using any of this material when he puts together the "most comprehensive behind the scenes look at Star Wars ever produced" (as the SE DVD hype machine says). The trailers are great examples of pre-MTV style marketing, and all of the interviews are informative and straightforward (een though Ben Burtt can be a little on the dry side).

I HIGHLY recommend TR-47's set to everyone concerned about the longevity of their VHS copies, cause you know we'll NEVER see the originals on DVD from Lucasfilm. I would've been overjoyed with a decent, widescreen, movie-only DVD version of the original trilogy from Lucasfilm, and if he refuses to make that available, I'm more than happy to look elsewhere. And now that I have it, I never intend on giving Lucasfilm another f#@$ing dollar.
