Star Wars Episode 0?
Time
A 'Knights of the Old Republic' film would be awesome, but I agree that this news is probably just conjecture. I'd rather have this one-off film though than have a terrible O.C. / Smallville TV show ripoff detailing how Luke and Leia managed their way through puberty. Lucas will probably call it Tatooineville! Ugh!

Things you DID NOT like about Episode III
Time
I have to agree that most of what's been posted did make the film a bit less impactful, but I had some other problems as well:

-I felt that the way Mace Windu dies was a cheap way out and did nothing but reduce the character's powers and abilities, especially when you consider how long Emperor Palpatine fry's Luke in ROTJ and he survives. I think that we should have seen him thrown out of Palpatine's window and follow him down to a passing vehicle where he grabs on much like Anakin in AOTC. By having him escape like this they could have had a final confrontation on the bridge of Vader’s Star Destroyer and let everyone watch Vader kill Mace Windu there. Much more honorable to that awesome character and a more resounding ending to the film, showing Vader's complete confidence and domination of the Force.

-I thought that there was a scene with Obi Wan communing with Qui Gon, and now that I know that it exists I too am pissed that it wasn't shown in the film proper. It would more appropriately bridge the films and give us that much more insight into how Obi Wan vanishes into the force in ANH.

-For the record, it was never spoken in the film that Padme died of a broken heart! The line was, "We don't know why, but she's lost the will to live." I don't think that her death hurts the Leia line latter on about her mother because her memory was of a sad mother figure that she barely remembers, and that could just as easily be Bale Organa's wife she's remembering.

I disagree! He knows exactly who C-3PO is but is unwilling to divulge his knowledge because it would give Luke too many questions before he was ready to handle them. Also since C-3PO's memory was wiped it facilitates this much more fluidly. If you think about it, R2-D2 is doing the exact same thing and has been for 20 years or so at that point since his memory is still intact. He won't tell C-3PO who Leia is or where the message he is carrying came from.

-And yes I felt that Grievous was very inadequately portrayed with the knowledge of the Clone Wars iteration still fresh in our minds. He was injured and incapacitated at the end of the Clone Wars cartoon though by Mace Windu using a force crush on his chest causing his coughing and wheezing throughout Episode III. But that shouldn't have effected his resolve and brutality any. I think he could have been a bit more menacing if there had been other Jedi present while Obi Wan was fighting Grievous and had slain them in the battle. Not only would that battle been more poignant, it would also have been more of a pivotal battle showing that Obi Wan needed Jedi assistance because Grievous was so difficult of an opponent and if he had not slain Grievous then, he would have been that much more dangerous of a character latter on when Vader came to power and hunted the rest of the Jedi.

Overall though I felt that the film was definitely a cut above the rest and it sits squarely in 3rd place behind ESB (2nd) and ANH (1st) in my book!
