Here’s an attempt with Pain. I’m not totally sure about it, mainly because the beat is so repetitive. I brought in some of the backing vocals at the end, I think that helps.

Hey thanks for giving it a shot…not bad. You are right though, I guess that loop is a bit repetitive without Pac’s rhymes in there for variation.

So perhaps that spot needs something different.

I took a crack at the Vader audio edit. (see the link below)

Over the years I’ve gone back and forth on whether such a change would work. I like the original dialogue as is. However, I also think such a change could make this moment more personal and more about the shattered Skywalker family. Also, it would better tie the scene to the events seen in the PT. We didn’t see much of Obi-Wan seeing good in Anakin during ROTS. Who knows, maybe the upcoming series will cover that?

Well this is a cool idea. Very unique. “Losing My Religion” (The Last Jedi) works really well.

I’m an old-school rap fan so I’d love to see some Wu-tang or 2Pac…but not sure where exactly. Also, when it comes to rap, obviously there tends to be lots of curses which I do not if you mind or not.

The sky is the limits creatively regarding what footage to potentially use. The real issue is not having real-deal Tom Kane narration for the ep.5 and ep. 6 crawls which is too bad. If any of you here can do a solid Tom Kane impersonation though, please let me know.

I’d love to do edits for those 2 as well. Heck, I’d love to do edits for all of the movies with Tom Kane narration.

Lots of great moments, audio additions, cuts and edits in here. This take on Anakin does feel closer to the TCW version of Anakin.

Hey thanks again for the followup. This was an enjoyable watch. VERY Good work!

Here’s a few notes I mentioned while watching that stuck out to me.

I liked a lot of additions such as the new crawl. This was a cool alternate take. New coloring on Endor helped to give the planet a more alien feel. Luke’s updated hologram was cool, that needed updating. I also dug Palpatine’s new sith eyes.

Best removal was Han’s out of place jealousy. By this point in the saga and within the ROTJ movie itself that felt like little a step backward for Han’s character & it hinted at a love triangle that was already abandoned. Good call removing it. I wonder if maybe the line “hey what’s going on?” can even be swapped with him just saying “Leia”? Only because that delivery: “hey what’s going on” always stood out to me as out of palace in that somber moment. It sounds like Han is casually answering a phone.

The only thing I noticed missing was the shot of Lando shown in the palace at one point nudging his mask down. If that’s in there and I missed it then disregard this comment. But if it was removed, the main reason I would have left it was because if we never have Lando established as infiltrating the palace, then he just shows up on the barge. I don’t know, just something to consider. I know you cut a lot out of that opening.

Again though, good work overall!

The ENTIRE saga needs way more Alden Ehrenreich.

Deepfake Alden Ehrenreich over Harrison Ford for every Han Solo scene in the Saga. Even the sequels, Deepfake an older Alden Ehrenreich.

Redub all of Ford’s dialogue with a new voice actor too, someone who sounds just like Alden Ehrenreich.

Also, Kylo Ren should probably get an Alden Ehrenreich makeover too…so he could look more like his dad, Alden Ehrenreich.

Very nice work showing Luke in the World Between Worlds. That shot might work inserted quickly in the montage of Rey’s flashes during the opening of the movie when Kylo is reaching out to her.

Also, the ghost scene is just spectacular. If that had been in the movie, audiences would have went WILD and it likely would’ve even helped win over some who haven’t been fans of the sequel trilogy.

Sorry dude, but that makes no sense. Either Luke spent some time training on his own while he was busy working with the rebellion, making plans to free Han, and coping with the world-shattering revelation that his dad is Space Hitler…or Yoda has a bad case of Alzheimer’s.

I would guess at least a year of time passes. Also keep in mind Yoda didn’t seem sick in ESB but by the time of ROTJ he is on his deathbed.

I’m looking forward to the Marvel comics eventually diving into the time period between ESB & ROTJ. I know the EU covered the time period already but it will be interesting to see a fresh take on that era.
