Hope everyone is doing well. Is this project still happening? I got worried when I saw the video taken down by disney on Vimeo.
I like a lot of the ideas in this video for the ground battle of endor, I know its a video game but still.
is it true Addy will take a year break before starting RoTJ:R? i think i read that somewhere

Every time I have a stressful day I visit this and the facebook pages to re-watch clips or read posts and suddenly I'm filled with excitement, seriously can't wait to see this version!!

I had pushed for this same thing as I also felt that once the rebs knew that their blasters were ineffective against the walkers they were pretty much there for nothing and not really delaying anything. I had suggested not to incorporate any new shots, but to simply include ground troops into existing ones.....but I don't think Ady's going to do it. It's not his preference for this edit.
I agree with you, new scenes pointless/unnecessary, incorporating them would be best. Either way I'm sure the edit will be awesome

Dying to see this edit!!!!! Have to admit I was heartbroken to know the March release is a no go anymore; but respect and understand that you can't rush art!
Is ESB:R going to be available in both DVD and BluRay? if so, will there be differences among the versions? (beside the video quality)
I believe i saw somewhere that someone suggested giving all the characters frost breath during the Hoth scenes to give it a realistic "in a cold place" feel. Do you think Addy will add that?
any updates on what you're currently working on? how much is left? I'm dying to see your masterpiece!! also is Luke's snowspeeder supposed to be full grey, without the red lines, as seen in the battle of hoth?

There is nothing to fix. He is clearly saying "Captain Solo"
This is the part inside the Hoth rebel base, when Han is having difficulty starting the Falcon and Vader with his troops are approaching the ship (around minute 34-35 into the movie). Maybe I'm just hearing things, could anyone check it out and see if its just me?

Muddyknees2000, I had seen a video on youtube where ady was trying to make the movement of the AT-AT smoother and a bit faster like their counterparts in the PT, will that be the case, that is if you can share that answer? also is there anywhere i could watch the clips that were posted/removed from youtube anywhere else? thanks!

It's done when it's done... But I would be surprised if it all looked exactly the same as all the clips that have been released thus far...
some you can no longer see as they have been removed from youtube and where ever else.
I am really excited to see it.... But I don't want to raise expectations any higher than the original film... This way when I watch it I'll treat it like watching the original and just notice the differences and changes as they occur (And with help from the change list too).
I wonder what the final change list will actually be.... I Hope doubleofive presents this one the same as Star wars revisited and well I am a believer in that, that list in the first post is a mere shadow on the actually individual changes so far even.

I know this edit is not a complete remake of the film itself, but it is always exciting to see even the small changes that Ady makes. The movie is great on its own but when small details like a working screen in the fighters and fixing continuity errors help enhance the film and give it the feel that it is set in a technologically advanced time period.
I really want to see this edit real bad! I know they have said by the end of the year but thats still too long, how about by the end of the month? lol
Adywan, first of all I want to Thank you for giving us the opportunity to see SW the way it was meant to be! Your edits are amazing and I am dying to see the final product. Is there any way we could see a latest clip/video of the edit?
