It looks like i may have to alter the credits list for ESB:R. Looking at just how many names there are on  the list it's now become obvious that including all the names is going to be impossible to fit in with the length of the credits, even with the extended track. I did notice that there are a lot of names on that list that just came in the thread and disappeared. Plus, since the facebook page was set up, there have been a lot over there that have also contributed with ideas and help so it would be unfair to omit any of them. So i have no alternative but to shorted the list of names. I will therefore have to shorten the list significantly and now just include a general thank you to everyone.

Sorry, but this is unavoidable. This thing grew much bigger than i ever could have imagined

That's too bad but I figured something like that might happen as the project grew. My memory is fuzzy because it was years ago but at one point I think I recall someone asking those of us who were active in this thread and going to be in the credits if we wanted our real names or user names? I think I just said my username.

I really hope I'm still in there however I totally understand if not that's fine too.

Either way I'm still excited as ever about this project and am grateful to have been around on the ride with you guys. Can't wait for it and I can't thank AdY enough for his efforts.

BTW I've watched the latest clip about 100 times now, lol.

Episode III: Revenge of the Ridiculousness
Time

"-I'm definitely replacing Grievious' voice, just don't know with what yet"

How about Mark from 'The Room'?

Examples...

Sith Sidious: The end of the war is near.
General Grievous: You think girls like to cheat like guys do?

Anakin Skywalker: General Grievous... you're shorter than I expected.
General Grievous: As far as I'm concerned, you can drop off the earth.

That's a promise.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: We have a job to do, Anakin. Try not to upset him.

General Grievous: You're the cause of all of this. I don't love you. Get out of my life, you bitch!

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Hello there!
General Grievous: Oh, hey Johnny, what's up?

General Grievous: You don't understand anything, man. Leave your *stupid* comments in your pocket!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Oh, I don't think so.

Padme does have that scene in the end where she names Luke and Leia.

Maybe that can be messed with? Instead of just saying the regular names you can have her say a silly laundry list of other names or ridiculous things and cut to reactions from those around her?

For instance maybe when she sees the babies she can say 'jar jar' or 'senator' or something like that?

Another idea - not sure if it is possible though without f/x help from someone though. But it might be funny after the scene normally ends between Anakin and Emperor after Mace has been killed to see Mace simply return and stand there all battered, bloody and bruised (without his arm) and just repeat ""In the name of the Galactic Senate of the Republic, you're under arrest, Chancellor."

It goes without saying whatever AdY decides regarding Jar-Jar and structural PT changes will be up to him...and likely be awesome.

My take on it though, for whatever that's worth, is I'd leave Jar-Jar in and just make him a stronger, more endearing character, if that's possible. How can this be done? Cutting the abundance of his silly antics and toning him down a bit (the obvious and most common things fans mention). Other than that, jeez I don't know. Maybe by then AdY will have the help of a CG animator that can work some magic and get a bit more creative with the character.

One thing is for sure - if he's a less goofy character than that makes the power he is handed in AOTC a bit more believable.

I no longer hate the Jar-Jar character as much as I used to....which is shocking. He's just this ugly birthmark on the saga I've learned to live with I suppose.

Perhaps a little deepening of Hayden's voice would do some good for his acting as well.

I've already been testing that in my edits.  I really learned how much hayden's pitch changes from line to line and scene to scene.  Once you deepen him, he sounds more mature and gives a less rapey voice in love scenes.  However, I still haven't tried it in Episode I.  and I wonder about Jar-Jar.

I'm curious to hear the difference, can you post a clip?

I've got it!

The final shot of Revenge of the Ridiculousnessness (or whatever it's going to be called) has Maul's Darth Darth's speeder fly across the Tatooine desert, past Owen and Beru (who are looking up into the suns setting) and drives straight into the camera, Walking on Sunshine blaring over the end credits.

LoL ^^ Nice idea.

Such a great running gag with so many awesome possibilities.

I think it's insane that old continuity issues, for example, are not addressed in even the latest official SE but new ones have been introduced (Artoo's appearing/vanishing natural alcove etc).

Try explaining this to someone accusing you of hypocrisy for preferring Ady's changes to Lucas'. A bad change, consistently applied, is better than even the greatest addition/alteration that is only applied to one shot thus creating all new continuity errors.

The people who criticize us fans of ady for being hypocritical are failing to understand a basic fact.

If you are going to do something then do it right (great expression). This notion holds true for GL as well. If you are going to make changes do them right or don't bother. For example, GL failing to make Luke's saber consistently blue on the falcon in ANH is a clear sign that he and ILM simply don't give a f***.

Contrast that with zillions of Ady's subtle, yet HIGH quality & consistent tweaks and fixes and maybe they'll see why we prefer Ady's take over GL's.

I'm a SE fan and an OT fan, I simply wish GL had cared enough to release BOTH versions in as high quality as possible. Instead he half-assed the SE and abandoned the OT.

That aside - (yet on the same subject) - it's cool to hear Ady fixed that ESB jump-cut.

Whoa...awesome edit there. Mace going solo and the shortened duel.......MUCH better. I also like the little cuts here and there of clunky/awkward moments from the theatrical version.

For a wip this is excellent. This really proves that with some fine tuning rots could have been a much tighter film.

Just came across these. ^^ Most impressive. For me, aside from the cape difference and the shiny/matte helmet I've aways had a tough time telling the difference between Vader's costume in the trilogy.

I used to be bothered by Vader looking a little rough in ANH and by his cape covering his upper breast plate. (I even made a comparison pic to show the difference which I've seen floating around on this forum) Now I don't mind - it is what it is. That said, I still wouldn't mind seeing a short proof of concept of a shiny helmet esbish looking Vader in AnH just for fun. :)

On a related note, GL really should have shown Vader looking more like his ANH version rather than the latter version.

Hey Frink - I'm so glad to see Tommy Wiseau will live on a zillion times over as hilarious repetitive clone voices.

LoL, brilliant.

For the next edit will you be using more clips of his audio from The Room or will you use other excepts of Tommy Wiseau from interviews and stuff? For example, I think he rambles on about The Room in the special features of the dvd. So there may be some potential there as well.
