The Rings of Power 4 part movie series

After a long time editing I finally have a movie series for the Rings of Power seasons 1 and 2!
A lot of moving around scenes, cutting and changing this is my take on the story, many characters and scenes have been removed to focus more on the important storylines and interesting characters.

Part one: The Light of the Eldar:
Part one follows Galadriel/Halbrand the southlands and the journey to Numenor as the main storyline the harfoot journey is the secondary story and ends with the battle against the witches as a climactic ending to the first movie.

Part two: the Three Rings:
Again we follow galadriel and Numenor as the main story secondary story being Elrond , Durin and the dwarves.

Part Three: the Journey East:
As the title says we follow the harfoots and Gandalf with Numenor being the secondary story.

Part Four: the Lord of Gifts:
This part follows the creation of the rings so just the Elves/Dwarf storyline.

No worries ady, I’m donating a bit monthly this year hope it helps, these are the most anticipated edits! Im up for putting a bit in to see these completed.

Will you be adding in any updated effects such as laser and lightsaber improvements or is this mainly a colour corrected version of the original?

Like empire revisited, your versions will be the ultimate editions and the only version of the original trilogy I will be watching, thanks for all the time and efforts you put into this project.

The Hobbit an unexpected journey (Crossfader edit)

There is so much to love about these movies but I always felt they were incredibly bloated, I wanted to trim the fat to mostly the book stuff but also including some of the Gandalf side quest and a few other non book scenes that actually worked in the movies.
I Wanted to give it a more linear tone the movies seemed to go from very slapstick to complete violence blood and gore, I removed a lot of the bad CG stuff the really ridiculous blood and gore stuff like cutting trolls in half for comic relief and also the childish slapstick humour!
the aim is to keep it as a trilogy but also give the movies a more linear tone similar to the lord of the rings.

Changes:

1. Trimmed the flashback to bag end.
2. Removed the song and trimmed the party dialogue.
3. Removed the scene ‘I’m going on an adventure’ instead we go from bilbo looking at the contract to him catching up with the dwarves.
4. Removed the moth breathing scene
5. Removed the orc spies
6. Trimmed the rain scene with no mention of the other wizards
7. Troll scene remains the same
8. Removed the orcs and Radagast scene’s completely
9. Transition from bilbo holding sting for the first time to the narrow valley into Rivendell
10. Kept the ‘it feels like magic’ scene
11. Trimmed the dinner in Rivendell scene with no mention of orcs only trolls.
12. Removed azog on weathertop
13. Removed Galadriel and Saruman scene.
14. Thorin overhears Gandalf talking to Elrond about the fall of hes grandfather thror , dwarves tgen leave without Gandalf
15. Kept the stone giants
16. Shortened the fall when the dwarves fall into the goblin dungeon
17. Trimmed dialogue in the goblin tunnels removed any reference to an alliance with azog
18. Trimmed the battle, no goblin king landing on the dwarves
19. Riddles in the dark with Gollum has not been changed at all
20. Re arranged scenes in the final battle so that dori and Nori are not hanging on Gandalf’s staff for what seemed like ages! I’m sorry but no one could hold on for that long .

AHSOKA 2 Movie cross/fader edit.

This is my edit of AHSOKA, I’ve tried to keep as much of the story intact as I possible just removing the unnecessary elements and cringey dialogue.

Movie one
Episodes 1-5
Runtime: 2 hours 22 mins

1. Trimmed the intro, we begin with balen and shin already entering the shuttle.

2. Shortened the finding of the star map, it’s now already sat there when AHSOKA enters the cave.

3. Removed the Sabine intro during the celebration on lothal.

4. We meet Sabine at the same time AHSOKA does.

5. I have added some flashbacks to the clone wars earlier in the movie.
   when AHSOKA is telling Hera about anakin, we see the conversation about AHSOKA just being a fighter and not what the Jedi should be! In this way it also gives viewers who have not seen the clone wars a little insight as to why she chooses to walk away from the Jedi, the world between worlds scene is now just the battle between AHSOKA and anakin without the flashbacks

6. Trimmed the cringy Sabine and Hera conversations after sabine recovers from injury.

7. Removed all cartoon Rebels wall art.

8. Sabine chooses her path to follow AHSOKA earlier.

9. Heavily Trimmed the Correlia stuff. We start straight at the control centre, tonned down the Hera classified conversation! Was way too cringy.

10. Trimmed the Sabine training scene.

11. Removed the Sabine cup moving scene.

12. Tightened up the space battle to the more important stuff.

13. Trimmed the arrival on the planet to get straight to them leaving the ship to find the map I needed to speed up the pacing to create a bit more urgency to the quest.

14. Removed a few scenes of Hera and the rebels searching for AHSOKA

15. Movie ends with AHSOKA traveling in the the whale to Peridia

Movie Two
Episodes 6-8
Runtime : 2 Hours

1. Added the Hera c3p0 cameo at the beginning of the movie as an intro

2. Trimmed the Sabine waking up on the way to perida

3. AHSOKA is introduced later in the first episode so it seems as tho she’s been traveling a long time and at least that way she’s not introduced too early and then not seen for an entire 40 mins

4. Removed some cringy dialogue including AHSOKAs laugh when reunited with Ezra

Most of movie two is entire episodes with very little editing.

Return of the Jedi Revisited has been halted according to one of he’s recent updates, a New Hope revisited is he’s to be completed and released before he moves back onto Jedi.

I agree witchdr episode 5 will not work well as a beginner of movie 2 especially with that ending!
almost felt as tho movie one should end here, had a very empire strikes back ending with the anticipation of the adventures to come in the unknown regions! Need some long episodes now to make this work as a two parter otherwise yes one movie will work better.
