@kk650 If possible, can you fix the uploaded.net links for TPM, AotC, and RotS? They're all showing 404 Errors
Speaking of that documentary, listen to George's first sentence here.
If only he had kept that mindset...
I know the lightsabers have been discussed here to no end but here's a comparison of the Cloud City duel scene. The sources are a YouTube video of the original release (sorry for the low quality) and the RMW demo reel.

I could be missing something but when the frames are compared they look almost identical.
Can you do another documentary/featurette for the making of ESB 2.0?
sorry if this was mentioned before, but how did you determine the color timing of ESB? Is there a source that has the correct colors?
Same. All im saying is if they decide to "fix" anything it should be errors like that. Nothing as drastic as, say, Hayden Christansen or Greedo shooting first.
I wouldn't mind Disney doing things like fixing matte lines or using digital set extensions (cell block corridor in SW) or coloring the lightsabers in the occasional shots where they're the white stick. But anything other than fixing the small errors should be left alone

Yes, but this is the eternal debate here - who should determine which changes to make and which not to? It's a matter of taste and there can be a million different altered version based on a million different opinions, whereas the original version is just that, the original version.
Point taken. I agree that the original is the best version, but if the SE is released again, hopefully the version which the most people are fine with is the one that is distributed
I realize it's impossible to make a custom version (although it would be great). What I described is what the re-releases should have been - cleaned up, but with some enhanced visuals and possibly aesthetic changes.
If this release does happen, I don't mind if they keep some of the enhanced visuals (Cloud City, new shots in the Battle of Yavin, etc) but remove the story-related changes (Jabba in the original movie, Greedo shooting first, Hayden Christensen in ROTJ).
just a note, if Jedi Rocks isn't removed, the entire thing would almost not be worth buying...
In the second duel clip, Vader's lightsaber looks pink in some shots, rather than the red that it is in 1.0, although its still much better than the blu-ray. Was the coloring intentional?
also, on a kind of unrelated note, I just realized the worst part about episode 7: no fox fanfare to open the film anymore :(
I got ESB and RotJ working. Thanks to everyone here! I'd also like to share DVD labels i designed using the image from the case Harmy created. They use the same font as the cases and are quite simple, but personally, I like them. They are saved in a .png format and can be easily loaded into a Word template for printing.
Just an extra step. It creates a .cdr, had to run a command to convert to ISO. Thanks again for everything harmy.
I'm actually doing that now in disc utility. I figured it out like two minutes after making the post. Thanks anyway
I've downloaded all 41 parts of ESB, but when I use UnRarX (Mac software for extracting/combining rar which worked for the original) I get a folder with just a BDMV file in it. No iso. Any help would be appreciated

Use JDownloader, force download and you can download like 20 files at the same time each at 300Kbps.
I would, but I'm a mac person and I didn't see a mac installer. Either way, I'll just wait for v2 so I don't use more discs than I have to
I'm a Mac person too and I can tell you cause I'm using it: There IS a Mac version for Jdownloader.
and now I realize that [after selecting 81 lines of text one by one to download the SW AVCHD]
i still might wait for v2 just because I don't have many discs left to burn it

Same. The original SW took a little over an hour and a half for me, and i gave up on ESB after I saw the 300kb per second download speed being offered.
Just a request: when v2.0 is released, can you upload them to multiupload like you did for the original SW? The current host (without a DL manager) for ESB and RotJ only lets me download one part at a time and at a slow speed.
