The Rise of Skywalker: Ascendant (Released)
Time

Just wanted to chime in that I watched V4 this friday.

For me, you took a 5/10 star wars film and made it into a solid 8/10! Huge improvement in pacing, stakes, character arcs and the overall storytelling! I cannot currently imagine how to get it better without actual rewrites and reshoots.

Thank you SO much for what you have done with this! It’s honestly incredible 🙏

Revenge of the Sith (The New Canon Cut) [ON HOLD INDEFINITELY]
Time

I just watched the edit, and I loved it! This is a much more realistic movie, from a character standpoint, than the original. It leaves many things unspoken, which makes it much more of a mature movie and with much less “show and tell” like I think the original suffers from.

Big Props to NFBisms for the work!

Small question, though: why is the audio track only 32 kHz?

I remember this was posted in the forum a couple years ago when it was first presented in 2016, but I feel like if somebody could get this working with a synth of Lanter’s voice and had good enough skills with the software, you could literally just redub all of Anakin’s lines with Matt’s voice and it would be almost seamless.

There are a lot of possibilities coming up in the next years regarding artificial neural networks and voice synthesis, which could make this kind of stuff much easier, yes. But it’s not yet really user friendly enough for actually doing it. The software in the video doesn’t seem to be available to the general public anywhere.
