Yes to both, I think Dash Rendar will either be seen like the droids in Rogue One, or be heard or referenced over the intercom in the film. I mean, Tag and Bink have a role in this film. The Outrider is seen in Mos Eisley in Episode IV. I think we’ll get something.

Who thinks we’ll see Dash Rendar cameo in this film?

I thought I heard somewhere they made a new Jabba puppet for this movie. Does anyone remember hearing that?

This is one somebody else did, it’s The Force Awakens poster by Drew Struzan, but slightly modified, I liked what the person did to the original and added a small touch to their version of it. I removed the text and added some color to Kylo Ren’s ship to match the TIE fighters in the background.

I might modify it a bit further with Luke’s lightsaber blade, and some of the ships leaving the box, but I will do it later.

This is a portrait of Harrison Ford’s Han Solo from 1977, it’s big 1086x1600, and I removed all the wrinkles, tears, and folds in the image. Let me know what you think.

If it doesn’t come out by Super Bowl weekend or with Black Panther, it’s not coming out in May.

Yeah, I last heard it’s coming out on May 25th, it’s a 2hr and 23 minutes trailer, first of its kind.

I didn’t mind the droids cameo, I mean, Bail Organa was there, that’s not fan service to me. Now if they showed up out of nowhere, no Bail Organa or Bail Antillies, then, I would be like what the hell?

Now the Dr.Evazan and Ponda Baba is different, they shouldn’t have been there, THAT was fan service to me.

The majority wins at Disney, if they want to put characters or things in these films, hoping to make money off it, their going to do it, regardless of what YOU want. It’s about ticket sales, and it always will be, period!

This Solo trailer could be great, but the film could suck. That’s how marketing works.

Here’s some stuff I’ve worked on lately.

These were the character covers for the Premiere magazine for The Phantom Menace, all I did was pose them all together. They consist of Qui-Gon, Obi-wan, Queen Amidala, and Anakin. They are relatively large images, but not super hi-res. I thought people could use them for custom covers.

In the TPM, Greedo was just a kid in the deleted scenes. If he shows up, he’ll be around 30 years old, and he gets killed around 40. There has to be one scene of him in this film. I want Greedo to be jealous of Han Solo, maybe Han does something to impress Jabba and loses to Solo.

We’ll see Jabba, Boba Fett, Tag and Bink, probably Greedo, the beginnings of the death star. There will be a lot of fan service in this, including some of the Han Solo lore we’ve heard about.

I think Rogue One and Solo show an alternate view of the same things that were happening in A New Hope. There are key things that bring fans back to Star Wars, like TIE fighters, X-wings, the Falcon, stormtroopers, the Empire, things that remind us that we’re watching Star Wars and that’s what they keep giving us, only changing the characters around. They like to stay between Episode III and IV. Obi-wan stand-alone will pretty much be the same thing.

I think Solo will be good, not great, but make enough at the box office, if it’s good, it will go over a billion, but not by much. If it sucks around 500-600 million world wide, but I doubt that will happen to be honest. I’m thinking a billion more like it.

I’m guessing they are wanting to get the additional shooting in the can before they give that May release date, in case something happens during shooting.

All it could be, is what was mentioned before, and that’s they are trying to figure out who gets the director credit or they are waiting for the film rating, or both.
