Star Wars haikus
Time
Probably. But it's here now and we can't move it ourselves. Jay would have to. And don't go starting another copy of it as that's just plain stupid. We'll let Jay decide how to handle it. There are a good half dozen threads out there that should be in different sections than the ones they are actually in.

A Big Debate for the New Century
Time
A friend of mine who was a strong Christian used to like to coincorporate both views of how humanity came into existence. His idea was that the Bible never really said how long each of those first seven days was. He believed that God created the universe and whatnot but that is not to discount the whole Big Bang theory because the Big Bang was likely the method used. BB dictates that it was millions of years of swirling gases that resulted in the universe and he thinks that could be God's "on the first day." Same with evolution. He likes to think that evolution still happened over the course of the number of years that scientists believe it to have happened but that the Bible refers to that entire process as a "day."

I liked it. Seemed to work for me.

Childhood Past-time: Model Rockets
Time
I was very much into model rockets. They were such a blast. Especially when you overloaded them with engines. Heh heh.

Something some friends and I used to do involved bottle rockets. We didn't like the standard static launchers like coke bottles and whatnot. Too boring. So we developed portable launchers. We used thin PVC pipe and capped off the end and put a bicycle handlebar grip on it along with a shoulder strap and would run around the neighborhood aiming and firing bottle rockets. The longer the pipe, the better the aim. We were pretty damn accurate. We had so much fun and never once got caught because we'd be firing from anywhere. Nobody could ever find us. Good times.

IPod Contents...character-revealing?
Time
I don't think you can tell much about a person from their playlist on larger iPods. On those, you can fit so much that you can include a bunch of stuff you wouldn't otherwise include simply because you have the room. My iPod has it all. Every single genre of music is represented in some way, shape, or form.

On smaller iPods like the Shuffle or the Mini, I think it might be a bit more telling because you have to be more selective about what is included. But this is just a theory as well.

BOSSK, I HAVE QUITE A FEW TMNT COMICS. I EVEN HAVE A REALLY NICE REPRINT OF ISSUE ONE IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BORROW IT.

As much as I would like to borrow them, with all the crap I've got going on, I have no idea when I would be able to get around to reading them. And I hate holding on to people's stuff for too long. I always wind up feeling bad. Just like with OS X.3. I'm sorry about that one.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll hold off for now.

Is the MottiSignal (TM) off for good?
Time
I don't want to turn it off, but for the first time since I developed it, the MottiSignal (TM) is not working. Motti has not come back to join our hallowed ranks of wit and wisdom (or lack thereof).

I'm going to give it another week before I officially turn it off. The electric bill on this thing is just immense.

Counting down... seven days left.

Come back Motti!!!!

Where, o where has our Motti gone?
Where, o where could he be?
