And you call yourself a Star Wars fan.

Bite me.

Well, I feel better knowing I wasn't the only one here who was clueless about it. I've heard of Destroyer Droids, but that's the only name I've heard them referred to as. Never as a "Droideka."

That certainly was simple, wasn't it?

Here you go...

Zero Mostel (The Producers) Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) Marcus Powell --> Rycar Ryjerd in ANH

Also:

... (Willy Wonka) Rusty Goffe --> Kabe, Jawa, GONK Droid in ANH

or

... (Willy Wonka) Malcolm Dixon --> Ewok Warrior in ROTJ

Don't ask me who the hell Rycar Ryjerd was in ANH, but he's listed in IMDb as being in the film. So I won't complain especially now that I have three direct links from Gene Wilder to SW. That covers quite a few films and anything Mel Brooks has ever done.

I think we've done Mostel before, but I know it wasn't this short. Once I saw Wilder in the Producers, I figured one of the Oompa Loompas had to be in a SW flick somewhere down the line. Dwarf and midget actors tend to be used quite repeatedly in Hollywood.

How about Jean Harlow? Have we gotten around to her yet?

I do love Lost. No question. But I'm also not very original. It works best for me to play within themes. Much easier to think of new actors/actresses. You're gonna get another one after this one.

Neung-kyeol No (Jangmiui gok) Hie-gab Kim (Ggambo) Dae-kun Lee (Mannal daeggaji) Ji-yeong Kim (Field of Honor) Everett McGill (License to Kill) Desmond Llewellyn (Man with the Golden Gun) Christopher Lee

It can probably be done in less than six, but I got it, dammit.

ROTS: Gut Feeling

ROTFLMAO!!!!

It's kinda funny because I used to take part in the Fark.com Photoshop contests and, a couple of years ago, I did one with this very theme in mind. It was a USA Today stat graphic about a satellite and it showed where it's orbit has taken it. I took the image of the satellite and added Slim Pickens (I think that's who it was, right?) on top of it just ridin' away. I loved it. Got some nice comments about it as well. I think I've still got it somewhere.

Heh heh. Cool. Good to know I've ingrained myself in the collective psyche! Actually, I've done that before as well. I've seen Bosc pears or read articles about the Basque revolts in France/Spain. Either way, I just can't help but think of... well... me. Sad, eh?

Very good, my young Padawan.

Prabhashankar (Alak Kishori) Yakbal (School Master) Banerji (Gaayam) Srinivasa Rao Kota (Ashwamedham) Amrish Puri (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) Harrison Ford.

FIVE STEPS, BABY!!!!

Is that all you got? Hmm. Is that it? That's all the better you can do?

HA! Bow before the the Almighty Bossk! King of Six Degrees!!!

Sorry, got a little carried away there.

Heh.

Okay, am still looking forward to the season finale of Lost, so, in honor of that, how about Maggie Grace?

Under-Rated Sci-Fi Films

Very true. What does "underrated" really mean? I wouldn't consider Total Recall to be underrated. It's been given the props it deserves over and over again. Dark City I would consider underrated. It's a relatively unknown flick. Emphasis on "relatively" of course. I loved the movie. But most people I talk to have no idea that there is a film by that name even with the name actors it has.

Plus, he's more than happy to appease people when they want cameos. Remember N'sync?! Perfectionist, I think not.

I never said that in the eyes of the rest of the world he is a perfectionist. Just that he likens himself as one. I don't consider him an effective one either although I know he is anal retentive enough that his films should have wound up being perfect.

Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.

Good to know you're feeling better, Jason. Hope it all works out for the best and you wind up with a better nose than the one you started with!
